Good stuff get onto the manfacturer in Germany and get a boat load over. Im sure the golf boys would have some of these as well. One thing to consider for each model is stock battery size .

Yes mate really want some makes the trims look a bit raw without them. also there are the two screw head holes in the trim next to the bottom of each door engine side either side where the bonnet latch is and the other side, did these come with caps as well does anyone know and Ill try post the the part numbers for them as will be differnt caps I imagine ? Cheers.

I think a 20VT is fair cop for a 16 v or G60 if not able to replace with an original engine block, however the detail is in the name VR6 you need six firing to give it designation.

It is amazing the Germans are the specialists at getting the last models out the factory by means of special edition, Porsche been the Kingpins.

Hi All, Has anyone got any A pillar screw cap heads for sale part number 3578671694FB this is for black. This is the cap that covers the screwhead on the A pillar, Can still get them from Germany but exspensive postage or anyone come across an alternative part number that fits and looks correct . Cheers.

I think you should try and sort out the sunroof first if your not in a rush to sell otherwise you could be open to offers beolw the cars true value, the mileage is a bonus. I dont really get the Storm edition to be honest as you only have two colour options, my Rado has leather interior . magic black (fav colour), also prefer the speedlines then the solitudes, but the storm badge does look cool. Best of luck in your sale.

This reminds me of a German documentary I watched about Martens a weasel like creature that causes thousands of pounds of damage each year to cars in Germany , by means of chewing up cables and pipes on vehicles.

Is this what you are after blue return pipe? Part Number 535201219B https://www.volkswagen-classic-parts.de/en/catalog/product/view/id/38978/s/krafftstoffrohr-corrado/ If so ask VW Heritage to order it in will be alot cheaper for postage then ordering OFF classics direct. Please check part number though is correct for your Rado. https://www.vwheritage.com/classic/?DisplayPage=1

I got all my fuel lines from these guys, I was humming and rrring wether to use them as based in Germany and thought bet they dont have these things in stock. Unfortunantley the fuel lines I purchased are differnet to the blue line your after. However bit the bullet and they arrived within a week , they have absolutley loads of hard to find corrado parts in stock with quick delivery. If you can find the part number for the blue I highly reccomand them. https://www.online-teile.com/volkswagen-ersatzteile/index.php?language=en

Ok got ya it sounds like a bugger to change theis blue line.

Hi Fla, Is this the fuel line pipes above the serpentine belt on the side of the engine , or the fuel hoses that attach to the each end of the fuel filter if so I can help with part numbers and give you a link to replace them as I have some ready to fit. Cheers.

I think if you picked one up for 3k and to get it up to a very good condition including all aspects of body work, interior, engine, electrics, suspension you can easily expect to pay twice/triple that amount over the next couple of years. If it's an honest car I dont mind getting one at 3k because all the parts are brand new youll fit and you get the rewards from renovating the car, also know the car like the back of your hand, probaly makes no commercial sense though so more of a hobby. The way I see it is most people loose at least a couple of grand each year through depreciation on newer cars so its fair enough.

I saw a guy on youtube who converted a 964 into an electric car. I just thought you have butchered that car what ashame .

Diamond cut are a nightmare to be honest, triple the cost and most refurbers make a right hash of them , after 6 months you can expect milking where water gets under the laquer, just a slight knock from changing the tyres or anything like that. The only thing is though a diamond cut outer rim gives a wheel a nice deep dish look with the shade contrast. Why dont you consider using a silver spray on the outer rim and a slighter darker shade on the main wheel. I have some staggerd AMG Mononblocks from the old hammer days and spent £650 6 months ago and already starting to milk up from poor laquer I guess, and the refurber had the wheel back twice at the time as the diamond cut rim was sharp and rough, It could of slit your finger open it was that sharp and jagged to be honest, in the end I gave up and thought I wont be using this ,?rick again. Amazingly he had a photo of the head member of BMW Forum on the front of his website and told me he was ex Airforce and the best in the game, well diamond cut was well beyond his skills. Also for those who do not know you can only diamond cut an alloy twice as it can determine the strength of the alloy the more you diamond cut away the weaker the stregnth of the alloy. Sure thing I will say I do agree the G60 does have rarirty and it is a cool VW brand and design. Does anyone own a Golf rallye on here think that is my all time favourite VW , just love the box wheel arches.
-
I dont disagree that it should be in a Corrado or dislike it , but I prefer the Vr6 engine ,in a Golf it just had that rarity in the UK so made it preety cool.
-
Ive got some German Dirko HT (High Tempature) for my Shrick manifold gasket I got off Bar Tek, but I think it would be good with a head gasket to, not 100 percent sure though it is apparently the bees knees. Readily available in the UK. Data sheet below. http://www.elring.com/fileadmin/Dateiablage_DE/2Service/Datenblaetter/Technische_Dichtmassen/Dirko_HT/TD_Dirko_HT_EN_02-2017.pdf

VR6 all the way , G60 in golf variation not that of the Corrado.
-
The G60 is rarer however the Vr6 is more sort after , there is no replacement for deplacement, the wookie growl wins .
-
I think its fair to say the majority of people looking for a Corrado these days will look for a VR6 with leather interior.
-
I believe so he also got some deep pile scripted carpets including the boot which is a bonus.
-
They do look good mine are aftermaket ones I believe that the last owner got from the USA a few years back.

Not sure if these work well but cheap enough if you dont want to take out the dash and also you could possibly use it for future inspection of the bores once sparks removed. This looks like a Chinese ebay seller but Im sure there will be a UK one with stock. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WIFI-Endoscope-Wireless-8LED-IP68-Borescope-Inspection-Camera-for-iPhone-Android/273547981832?hash=item3fb0baf408:m:mAk70W7uyRzkUrYcryeNxWg:rk:2:pf:0

I think a lot of people are to use to 4 pot turbo cars these days with low end torque, you realy do have to rev out most 90s sport cars with large blocks. The bonus is you get to enjoy the engine as it goes up the rev counter. I had a S550 GT Mustang in 2016 and you just couldnt use the power and the traction was awful on UK greasey roads. had to swop out the stock Pirelli for MC Pilot Sports which did improve somewhat.I actually mistakingly did a 180 dougnut turning right at some traffic lights once looked a right hooligan . The best cars on uk car roads for performance and grip are hatchbacks like the Focus RS and Golf R. NO point going over 230 bhp on fwd cars in my opinion .
-
If it was a VR6 you need to rev up to about 4000 revs and then the car will come alive.
