  1. This is the et chap. If you notice the spokes go from centre to outer rim whereas a normal speedline the spokes go inwards.
  2. Thanks ABV The wheels are 7.5 J x 16 5 x 100- they were designed to take 6 pot AP callipers that came in the VWMS race packs for motor sport- also were on the MK3 rallye prototype. This is the car they came off Dave Pinkey and that is Vince from Stealth racing *red top) in photo that use to build the cars up with VWMS packs and also use to be the race mechanic.
  3. Holy Somosa that is a fibre glass abortion.
  4. Got there in the end was pretty hard going to be honest and nearly gave up a few times- Cox Motorsport Inspired VWMS Corrado Tempest VWMS Steering wheels - Russia and Belgium VSR Manifold France VWMS Gemini 5+ 6 Gemini Northamptonshire VWMS 16 speedlines 7.5J Dave Pinkney Vento Cup Team
  5. Thanks mate should never need to ever worry about the fans as the old Bosch ones are going strong still although I just has an engine rebuild and it made sense to replace 25 year old fans- its just the plastic tabs that brake on the old ones and Im sure they are not going to last for ever.so thought get a 4 pin fan whilst you - I have not seen any other available worldwide in 4 [in - there may only be a few of these left at classics .
  6. Crazy you can buy these genuine parts but not a quality rad- Classics should get a quality one made up as they are the most common thing to fail in the cooling system . Even the metal fan shroud is available believe it or not.
  7. No worries chap- etka show the looms under electrical and also show part number for plugs which is listed on the click site.
  8. Im not a fan of aftermarket manifolds especially headers - they drone on the motorways - they make the engine bay hotter- you cant hear or feel the engine if its working spot on whilst driving. The best exhaust systems are the vag long life but are heavy very heavy. Ive just purchased an ugly downpipe for the 16v which came with a silencer from factory but a 16v has a horrible rasp and drone without it .- 8v do not need one. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hosenrohr-Vorschalldampfer-VW-GOLF-II-GTI-16V-KR-RHD-Rechtslenker-LEISTRITZ/124154357427 The exhaust is a German company called LEISTRITZ - they were the oe manufactures of VAG exhausts and in this case it cost me £200.00 inc postage- the same exhaust with the vag stamp is 699 euro from classics- so I love when an nos Leistritz (no longer made) comes on the market I snap it up absolute quality and they are all long life. https://www.volkswagen-classic-parts.de/en/abgasrohr-f0752d.html Picture example they are the OE. So if you want an oe exhaust that may will be obsolete look out foe Leistritz - I believe they made them for the Corrado as well.
  9. Thanks ABV. Of course chap here is the link off ebay- it includes all the seals and connectors as well- I think it is OE as well because has the orange seal inside plug same as vag. Part number is 1H0973204 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1H0973204-1H0-973-204-4-WAY-CONNECTOR-KIT-Inc-Terminals-and-Seals-4-AC278/233324341480 This is the company that sells them- they have many vag plugs in stock. https://www.auto-click.co.uk/
  10. Also aftermarket selling fans with only 3 pins are rated at up to 450 w and would of been speed setting two that would of not worked 3 fine. Table below off etka cleanly shows the fan I have purchased.
  11. Which fuse are you on about the one in the fan controller? Im pretty sure I will be fine as the fan I purchased wouldn't be on etka as a superseded part for a manual vr6 without aircon and towing.
  12. This is the other fan unit . https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Auxiliary-Fan-Control-Unit-Kuhlersteuergerat-VW-357919506A/233875000584?fits=Model%3ACorrado&hash=item3674094d08:g:0T0AAOSwOPhgGhBa
  13. Sounds like your capable of working it out so waiting for calcs mate thanks ha - the wiring is beefy as you say. My fcm is part number 3AO 919 506 . There is also a control unit available with the same part number above but with a A on the end - maybe the fan control unit would be more suitable
  14. Yeah that looks a good one- I wonder what colour that is its and if it has the same paint code as a Corrado - it looks like dusty mauve . These have doubled in the last 18 months in price - I believe the parts to be extremely expensive, One cool feature you could get on them was rear pop out windows like happich but they were electric.
  15. Whats that of Dox? For some reason I cant get on fb marketplace- got a mail off fb saying I had been phised (whilst on FB (fake site and I signed in they reckon ) and they are checking no sale were made in my name or buys I guess was also asked to change my password.
  16. What do the twin slimline fans take in power on setting 3 as that is two motors running at the same time whereas the stock set up is just one motor? I like the stock set up be honest as the slimline are to noisy for me tbh.
  17. Im not electrical expert far from it in fact but the fan is 12v so it think that is the important thing. Cant see it been an issue as its a superseded part number for fan ending with J- after studying diagram you can see its in the same section as normal abv (not towing and hot climate) however has been uprated to top power of 450 same as the towing in warm climate fan . https://www.ilcats.ru/vw/?function=getParts&market=RDW&model=COR&modelcode=76&year=1995&group=9&subgroup=959&part=238000&language=en
  18. This is the seller mate. You might see them as a few different names but they are all the same company. Had a few things now off them some been the last couple of parts available before they go obsolete. Seem to have there own stock or an agreement off the Classics that they reserve a couple of everything for them . https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/tshopabs
  19. Think it cost in total around £260 - but from what I can see is the only OE fitting fan motor in the world ha.(with 4 pins) This fan will probably out live me I guess as well as proper Bosch not like the modern stuff.
  20. So fan arrived today and its a success -has 4 pins . Also got a new plug and fittings. Youll see your fan has a K last number but that is obsolete- only difference is this fan is for cars with towing and hot climate so setting three is 450 watt rather then 350 watt so bonus really. Highly recommend the Latvian seller on ebay - quicker then Heritage by weeks and also on many occasions seems to have the last couple of stock pieces even if classics do not have them- great seller. I know Sean uses them as well.
  21. Ive heard this to - like RS models 12 years old and they cant get the parts.
  22. Im just window shopping to be honest- I have a hunch that Audi classic parts would be even worse to source then VW ?
  23. Beautiful car and colour - I deal for Irish roads I imagine Ive missed the boat of the S2 now - could of get one for 8k a year or so back but now up to 20k plus. Can still get a 5 cylinder one for reasonable money but they do seem to suffer from under body rust, The S2 is the special one though in tha mark and of course the estate but I like the coupe. .
  24. Does sound a bit fishy - new shcrick cam would be the safe bet I guess.
  25. You can do better then that Geri how about a VW Motorsport camshaft - would have to check it fits of course. Would want to see evidence of course it is what it says. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vw-Motorsport-G60-CAMSHAFT/293479622797?hash=item4454bfa88d:g:uMUAAOSwff5eSZh4
