The best way to look at these cars values I think is the difference is between a derelict barn or a renovated barn conversion. -
Ben MJA purchased a nice set recently, money was very reasonable and new from Speedline direct - was about £650 I think

Good honest car but needs a lot spending on it. Went for strong money indeed. 4.8 k plus fees I imagine and transport to collet. https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/auctions/1992-vw-corrado-g60-W4XWrn?fbclid=IwAR2vLEX9gHSaTrFkeFy4gzMU5TPdDrHSZT0pwb1zwbqxgpjjnsViy3qM4tE My observations metal repairs to rust - full respray - will need to rebuild the charger- new interior-multiple dented /damaged panels - undercarriage restoration and suspension - fogs and indicators- my estimate 10 k plus renovation easily more like 15K and above . Would it not of been a better idea to buy a 8k one that was well sorted and could enjoy straight off the bat ? -
In regards to speaker size you had to ask audioscape to cut out size od speaker otherwise they would come holeless and you would cut the size yourself to suit- (6.5 I think) was pretty much the biggest size you could ask to be cut so maybe cutting out the 7 inch caused the issues .

I recently refurbished the pocket with this stuff was perfect- picture of back of mine below. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-Velvet-Vinyl-Car-Fur-Wrap-Sticker-Air-Bubble-Free-Adhesive-Decals-V/262800048342?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=561795883107&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 Was also tempted to do my glovebox shelf in it as well .
-
Probably not thinking about it as im sure they made some early ones first without window switch housing - not sure to be honest, If you cant find the grills buy something like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/METAL-MESH-SPEAKER-GRILLS-6-5-DIAMETER-PAIR/124520930626?_trksid=p2485497.m4902.l9144 Then do a small stamp into the grill to house audioscapes decal will be around £15 a pair delivered. Pete Aspery contact him on FB if you want a set of the decals. Could also paint the wood or get some cheap self adhesive velvet off ebay.
-
Have you the speaker grills as that will also affect value . The decals Me and another have a batch coming over from Renewart if missing,.
-
Interesting the audioscapes are fibreglass on the inside - these look like a repaired set or even a prototype. The external looks spot on. They will be very heavy now- somone would still buy them but at a less of a premium.
-
Put a picture up they also made them for Mk2 golfs, some fords and BMW .
-
Anyone ever used these or is it the new BBA company ? https://www.abs-repair.co.uk/volkswagen-audi-abs-fault-brake-pressure-sensor-failure/

If you had the other Kamei trim I reckon you could sold the kit alone for very strong money- talking of trims has anyone ever come across a Bonrath lower splitter.
-

This car also reminds me a bit of a Z car. -
Ive never seen a set of BBS RA 5 stud unfortunately the closest you will get to RA is some BBS Mahle 5 studs but these come in mostly Porsche and Merc fitment- and 7j astonishingly handsome alloy and have thick lips = look drop dead on Lorinser kit. A very rare alloy that

I would say so otherwise someone going to get ripped off.

Did username have a dale in it - been scamming loads on FB.
-
Oh dear this does not sound good - surely this needs to be sorted so only a paid member can send email for starters.
-
Yeah there nice chap but I aint spending that sort of money on alloys and also not polishing them wheels every week would rather drive the car in my spare time 😉 To be honest the stock BBS RA are just right for a Mk2 and hard to beat and cheap ! What I would like is a set of Sebrings so I can interchange the alloys and take the other set to tyre fitters so they dont cause damage sills jacking- they are sods round here for doing that even if you tell where to jack will be ignored. I had these real special BBS in 7 j can be identified by the small holes and deep dish- sold them on for £850 to raise funds and the Mk2 crowed were fighting over them - the perfect OE plus alloy and were an E30 upgrade to - much rarer then RS and the older lads long term owners craze for them as remember them from the 80s show days. I do have a beautiful set of refurbished BBS RA with caps if anyone wants to swap an unmolested set of sebrings.
