You've picked the right car if your over 6ft!! I'm 6'2" and had to wedge myself into the thing!! no room to move once you're in either. Personally I'm not too keen on the looks of the car, but handling is AMAZING!! It is like a go kart, in a really really fun way!!!

Disgusted!... so it got put up on the wall at work instead of home!! There hadn't been a rado cover car all year.. It's all politics, just keep the Golf boys happy (9 covers out of 12!) and they'll sell enough issues to keep in pocket. :evil:

My brother saw these two VR6s? in salibury on christmas day am. The back one is L*** OAC, front seems to have small number plate?

I have a G reg burgundy 16v (debadged front and back) with a VR6 bonnet and I drive through willsbridge a fair bit... Do you remember the reg? What were you in? Recently i've seen a light blue/grey (nice colour!) VR6 around bath, A really hot girl driving a VR6 in saltford (by the speed camera!) a white 2.0 16v on the Bristol ring road and a white 1.8 16v in Bath. Can't remember seeing anyone around willsbridge for a while, but i'll be driving through in about 1/2hour!! will be on the look out!

I've got a friend going to China next week, and wondered if anyone knows firstly if the Corrado was available there, and secondly, if it was, were there any differences from the UK/euro spec? I live in Bath, but mostly use the car for getting back to bristol. I have a 1990 1.8 16v, in Dark Burgandy - Just passed MOT!!! Horray! I've got mates with a 1990 1.8 16v in red and a 1991 G60 in Blue, both based in Bristol. We'd all be up for a big meet if some yokels wanna get together?

Performance Direct quoted me £800 3rd party F&T for my 1.8 16v, through Highway. Adrian Flux quoted me £425 3rd party F&T... through Highway! Exactly the same cover, same company, different brokers.. crazy. Guess who i went through?!? Don't know about problems with claims through, fingers crossed will never find out!

Saw this in Bath, at VW main stealer yesterday. VW bloke had just dropped the owner off, it was in for MOT. Told me it had been bored to 3.1 and had 150bhp of Nos set up! :shock: Full leather with roll cage etc... very nice.

i'm very interested in the white/red M3 style. had thought about the all tinted, but my rado's dark burgandy pearl and i'm not sure they would look too good. from the purple one on page two, i think all dark tint makes the back look like a renualt 19 i used to own!!! I dont wanna go back there!

Still getting grief from main stealer, I’ve been told that the set no is not recognised by VW head office, they have had lots of people trying to give them this ref and they “do not want to assist any further” Cheers then. Fantastic aftersales like this is exactly why when I get my car serviced, I don’t take it to VW!! Looks like it may be time to pay my main dealer a midnight visit with an adjustable spanner… Wonder what part number they would use for replacement wiper arms on a demo car!?!?!?

AAAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHH!!!!! I'm having a nightmare with my nearest main dealers!! motor services in Bath and Heritage in Bristol. Neither recognise the V at the start of V6X2 998 406. I have been told that without the V the ref is for any standard lupo, but these have identical wipers to the GTI.. Can anyone confirm if this is correct, or advise a phone number for a main dealer that has supplied wipers with the V ref? The price they are quoting for non-GTI is 17.36 + VAT (the same as above have paid for GTI) so maybe this is the same thing?!? All I wanna do is see in the rain!!!!! :mad:

Done.. now up to 796!! that IS a lot of people with the same lights though!!

This is my first post!! I've just bought a dark pearl burgandy 1.8 16v. I've never seen the colour before, I'm really impressed with it, although it could do with a t-cut!!
