Stealth have one and thats very like the proper VAG tool... How much are they? - could have done with one of them when I did my mums mk3 Golf starter!

I dunno - you need to do this timing but I think there is something else wrong you need to sort first...
-
Critical_Mass, it senses Oil condition... (All MK4 based cars have it and it's used for the variable servicing regime)

Your just looking for 12V at the plug that goes onto the injector loom...

Just need a new disc mate but altho you can buy a single one you really should do the pair with new pads and also wheel bearings as they are pressed into them.

Was the injector loom ok? Check voltage to the fuel rail and all engine earths...

do GSF do such a thing as a service pack?
Supercharged replied to ZippyVR6's topic in Suppliers Forum
They did a few years back for golfs but I'd use proper VAg stuff for a VR - the Mann filters that GSF sell are no where near is good quality, they're not what they use to be when they were autocavan!!! -
...It's an oil condition sensor...

Noisy belt/pullies on 92 G60 (Still having problems)
Supercharged replied to claire.major's topic in Engine Bay
I think you can replace them with cam belt pulleys but not sure if different bolts are needed... Also check the tensioner for wear and check the spring is not rubbing against the damper as this will cause the plastic pulleys to run 'off' -
Lol.... ...your banned

Cam belt tensioner - be careful if you slacken it as you will need a special tool or at least circlip pliers to retension - if you remove the plastic cover you should be able to tell if it's that making the noise I would think... Also be warned - I couldn't compress the damper / tensioner thing on my own - very difficult to get back on especially a brand new one!! -

As above - also make sure the noise isn't the cambelt tensioner giving up!!! -
