  2. The US abs system is alot different to the ones we have over here...
  3. No - Audioscape will cut them tho but will need to know what size speakers... give them a call when you have the speaker size, the use a diamond wheel to cut...
  4. You should be able to undo one end of the lead and slide it off/on...
  5. Make sure you get the SFK ones, not the cheap Jap rubbish...

  7. The plunger - this would be more difficult I think as it's not electrical, it's purely just a damper/assistor... (the boot light switch is located inside the lock housing altho this can be replaced seperatly)
  8. Have you ruled out imobiliser if fitted and ignition switch? Change the critical relays anyway if they have not been done along with the BTS... You need to VAGCOM it before spending money on a Crank sensor or dizzy as they are both over £100... Also maybe worth checking oil is not contaminating the hall sender in the dizzy... The crank sensor (G28) plugs in on the lower right hand side of the block held in by a single bolt...

  11. I think the light is an easy way for alarm installers to sense weather the boot is open or not, was there an extra wire running to this?
  12. There is loads of info on here about this - try the search again :lol: You need a small K&N filter for the ISV and some heater pipe to vent the cam cover to a catchtank or just to atmosphere...
  13. You really need to buy a mk3 matrix (with valves built in) and 2 new hoses...
  14. Master Cyl is the bit the pedal directly connects to, the slave it ontop of the gear box - look for the hydraulic flexi-line leading to it, it also have a bleed niple on the end of it...
  15. Magnetic sensors loose resolution over time, if something is over 10 years old I'd say it's done ok but weather you want to replace them all is up to you... could be an expensive exercise!

  19. Hmmm - that is one of the quirks of mine, Corrado fuel pump and sender and MK4 Clocks and the fuel guage reads backwards... lol
