  2. Yep, same thing... Service cost is hard to say but maybe £350 including cambelt for a basic service with them letting you know what needs attention...

  4. Are you using the proper VAG / Gates poly-ribbed belt?

  6. MK3 ones don't fit and the buy it now price alone is more than they cost from the dealer, they are from a mk3.5 cab... The ones that fit are from a passat.
  7. Down south - may be better to take it to Stealth Racing, not G60 specialists but still know more about them that any other garage in the country...
  8. F*cking right, for a garage to get the cam timing wrong and not check/notice and rectify it is unforgivable.
  9. Have you tried adjusting the cable with the clip? I think there is also a grommet that goes thru the bulkhead that may have popped out... The lambda signal is ignored on WOT (closed loop) Clean the TB too...
  10. Looks like the splitter was ripped off it's bolts? you did a good job securing it altho you could just rip it off for now... If its just that then the best place to get new is either VW or GPC, yours is the 90mm version but there is a 50mm version available which will fit and is about half the price, it doesn't look as good IMO but better if the car is lowered or you scrape the current one alot... Best to get a few new bolts as well...

    Hmmm - you changed them and bled them with the handbrake off I assume... Does it have ABS, does it have a rear brake bias valve / compensator?

  13. Did they confirm this with a leakdown test, ie you sure it's not just the heat-exchanger...
  14. Fans are the same as MK2 Golfs, it's just the resistor packs that are different and need to be swapped... They are also about £50 from GSF or VAG but there was someone selling new ones at Inters last year for £35...
  15. BoddersG60, welcome to the forum... Sounds like it just needs setting up well by a good G60 specialist, not sure where you are based but G-werks is the place to go!

  17. Thats from a 92 G60 - the one above 53 is the ECU relay I think, 80 is the Fuel pump relay...
