Hmmm... I'd be interested to know if certain racks have less lock than others as I am having problems with wheel rubbage on IC pipe work when on full... I also may neeed to go down the new column and rack route fairly soon also...

VR6 Radiator same as Rallye? Will it fit a C G60 ?

Yes, best to use the serial port with win95 as USB support was only just coming out as that OS went on the market...

Oh - and if you can't see anything wrong, don't order parts just yet... Put the MFA into diagnostic mode (search on here for info) and see if you get a speed reading as it comes from the same sensor, that should tell you if the problem is in the clocks or not...

lamwagon, Is the speedo reading digital or mechanical? If it's digi then look at the electrical connection towards the back of the gearbox (on the top) - thats the distance sender... If it's mechanical then there will be a cable going to the same sort of place...

It's just the standard OBD2 plug you need...

G60 coil? BTS - test resistance of sender and check continuity of look... Hall sender on the dizzy is the other thing to check...

I'd get front and rear pads from GSF - they do free delivery at the moment I think off the web... Pagid fast roads will come to over £50 which you need to spend for this Everything else from VW unless you are upgrading...

Has the Oz dealer said they can't get them now?? I've had no luck either but might give GPC a call and see if they have stock... I think the VR one will need a VR slam panel also... -

Yeah - best thing to do for a bolt on part, especially if you can find one in the correct colour... If thats the only rust on the car then it's probably the result of poor repair work so again, best to replace...

Yep, Halfords and GSF sell them but don't do the offset one we need... they are only a tenner each from VW anyways - it's the arms that are expensive!

Daz - I pushed mine in by hand (using a bit of mdf) - genuine discs and bearings!
