  1. LOL! Found out why my rear bearings wouldn't tighten up yesterday at Stealth - missing washers!!!
  2. How is PhatVR6? (Oh no... what have I said...)
  3. Just a note - you can buy the US brake light parts over here but you also need to cut the rear hatch...
  4. So its turning but not starting??? Have you got an immobiliser fitted? Checked king lead, battery voltage, engine earths?
  5. Yep, a german dude was selling new ones at Inters for £35 but no contact details i'm afraid... Also - if you get a mk2 one you will need to swap the resister pack over as its 4 speed as opposed to 3
  6. task, what do you actually need?? If its a G60 then get either a G60 clutch or a VR6 clutch... (the VR one is cheaper and better)

    Help asap

Erm... it looks to me like your missing something - top spring plate maybe? but I don't understand as coilovers come 'made' up don't they?? you just have to add the top mounts.. It looks to me like the top plate is on upside down ontop of the spring - this should be ontop of the top mount and visible from under the bonnet..
  8. sampayne, Is it the right jack - it should have an outline of a Corrado on a yellow sticker...
  9. Do the rear calipers move if you hit the break pedal? - if so then adjust the handbrake cable...
  10. Any VW 4 stud yes but you obviously want to match the wheel diametre and size (and tyre size...)
  11. Does anyone know whats happened to the Club GTi forum?? All I get is this... THIS SITE HAS BEEN SUSPENDED!

    Yep... It's friday!
  13. Can you just remove it then - it's causing my electricity bill to go up!

Are you sure all the sensors are working properly? I wouldn't change anything until you have checked the Lambda for instance...
  16. No, thats what I do... the charger is oil fed to it's important to keep it clean!
  17. I'd get the parts from VAG only, also best to buy a pair not just the one... the VR mounts - i'm hopefully fitting these on mine next week but there seems to be varying opinions as to if they fit or not - I think you can only fit to coilovers too so if you have not got these then get the 4 cyl ones...
  18. jester, you could just try the VW dealer! They'll most likely give it a scan for free in order to quote you for what needs to be done, then you can always go elsewhere if the quote is too expensive..
  19. Did you ask them about a Corrado one then!!
  20. Sekurit make the original screens and glass places can get these cheaper without the VAG logs (I assume they are as good quality) Pilkington (New Zealand) make the 'pattern' ones that seem to scratch easily and some have flat spots - avoid!
  21. Yeah, as Chris said it all depends on use, I bought a set of screwdrivers in a case from Lidl for a fiver just to keep round my mums house for jobs, diy etc and they are great, before that I only had 2 round there... also bought a bottle jack from them, same price and TUV approved and a ratchet socket set with Splined bits! Then today I spent £100 in about 2 mins with mr Snap-On on a rathet screwdriver and a few other bits, not much but all lifetime warranty... Mostly use Halfords Pro tools but nice to have a few Snap-on bits, also I bought a Blue Point magnetic parts dish for a fiver - the sealey ones sold in Halfords are a tenner so sometimes they are cheaper....
