    is it a belt squeel or belt rubbing on something? Was gonna suggest the 2 plastic tensioning wheels but you've done that... checked cambelt cover is in place?

    What discs are you running Will?? I've just changed my front drilled zimmermans back to VAG metal and the difference is amazing, 10 times better than before and the old discs were only 30k miles old...

    Yep, exactly the same caliper as Dazzy says, unless you are comparing with a late VR Golf with 288's...

    I think you'll be ok to be honest, VR capacity is 6 ltrs so as long as it wasn't driven to hard, especially around corners then you should get away with it... I'd just keep an eye on the level now as obviously 2 ltrs has disapeared since the last oil change!

    Yep I got one of those - mk5 golf part... g60griff, the 5 stud cars (mk3 GTi's and C VR6's) also had a wider track by 10mm each side *I think*, hence different track rods, arbs etc...

    The VR clutch kit is the same size but more heavy duty, ie all three parts will fit straight in, and it's cheaper from the dealer!

    Think it depends if you are changing the track width or not...

    Yeah but with that mileage in such a short period of time it obviously wasn't being used for 'normal' driving - it probably had less wear on the clutch that one that is 5 years old with 80k's on the clock...

    That small fuel pipe at the end of the rail goes to a switch, but I think you mean the rad thermoswitch which is a 2 in one unit - ie it has 2 stages.

    But for the price of one from a local motor factors you may as well replace it, I was getting shocks off the whole chassis until i fixed mine!

    Are you sure it's smaller on an ABS G60 kev?? I'll check the part numbers later... as far as I know there is an ABS MC and a non ABS MC for all Corrado's...
