Yeah - sounds about right, plus the copper pipe of course which isn't expensive but has to be considered....

I think it's fairly similar except you don't get the traction control... The brakes on my non ABS G60 (TDi) 'feel' alot better than the ABS ones on the other one but given the choice I'd rather have the ABS, over the last 4 years it must have saved me from at least one crash!

A20 LEE, which Polo is that off and does it just fit the Corrado servo ok? Maybe needing one soon but would this one only be for ABS cars?

Yep, as above, calipers/carriers, 280mm discs, pads and idealy new hoses too

I was thinking that Kev because vauxhalls used to be 4 by 100 also... I have a feeling that all Vectra's were 5 stud tho...

Yeah, cheers guys... I'v been looking at ETKA, not found anything yet really tho.. I did notice the new Tourans come with 350mm brakes and the W8 comes with 364's tho!!!

godskitchen, I'm liking that! So much so, in fact, that I think we should make it a forum meet tradition to 'visit' the dealer and take photo's etc! I've also been tempted recently to book my Corrado TDi in for a service just for a laugh!

Not sure Jim, I guess it's bypassed in some way, everything else works - handbrake warning light etc... Just the original car was an early G60 that didn't have ABS..

Ok, I've got a MK4 engine and now MK4 rear brakes and Dom is selling a front brake setup minus the discs at a good price... Does anyone know if the 288mm brakes will fit onto a G60 provided I can get the discs with the correct stud pattern (4stud)?? The G60/VR6 Carriers are the same part so the bolts must line up and I have 16" wheels so that shouldn't be a problem and no ABS on the TDi. Anyone have any ideas about discs - SEAT maybe??
