  1. It could be alot of things but you won't need to replace the throttle body, cleaning it may be a good idea... What has been changed recently?? plugs, fuel filter etc???
  2. Seanasie, I'll be at Utterly Veedubberly this weekend...
  3. nephilim, have you had a look? - the dash will have the hole for it whatever... the spoiler control module is also mounted nearby so the switch loom will probably be there even if the switch is not...
  4. Yep about the same from VW (near £500 when you add on clips, bolts etc) Bad luck mate but thats what it's there for, better than getting the car itself damaged! Yours is a late spec exterior if i remember correctly - worth specifying to the body shop to save mistakes being made as 92 was the changeover year...
  5. Pressure bleeding is much faster and you've got less chance of getting air into the ABS pump
  6. dutch, have you forgotten to take your medication today!!! They are different, as stated above!! VR springs are different to all other Corrado's and have a different part number (54706) - are you looking at a US website?? - remember the SLC had a 2.8 and the Euro VR (which I assume is what you have is a 2.9) so that maybe why there is a difference
  7. Mine are blue - but I have a G60!!! You need green as you have a VR6
  8. Eh - read the posts above - Corrado VR6's need the green springs!!!
  9. Hmmm, my Blue ones are 54706 - either way, what he's got seems wrong...
  10. probe goes into the CAT and the wiring connects on top of the rear engine mount...
  11. Check you wiring first mate...
  12. any noises from the spoiler?? - maybe try some talc...
  13. Thats correct, got 2100 at 6200 rpm Bix - I think this must be Vac related, maybe Darren has some ideas...
  14. Like I say, they should be green... What year is your VR - if it's a 95 remember you'll need the early spring plates as well..
  15. Yep, I've always thought you could... It's test drives after repairs that you have to be very careful with!
  16. H&R what and what engine have you got??? H&R springs for a VR6 are green, for all other models of Corrado they are blue.
  17. I wouldn't - check it while it's still light outside... if you think it's ok then drive home but it'll only take you ten mins to have a look...
  18. Is the clicking sound coming from inside the car - ie a relay?? I'd start by re-seating your fuel pump relay and checking the crank sensor wiring...
  19. Get the cam cover off and have a look at the tensioner asap (don't start it until you have done this) Look for an off centre bearing or swarf from the bearings being chewed up.
  20. re-seat the fuses, even if they are not blown they can corrode and cause a duff connection...
