  1. Not looked at the video, but it will either be the water pump itself (£25 exchange from VAG for the whole unit) or the plastic thermostat housing which I'd replace anyway if doing the pump along with a new stat... The only problem with the water pump is that the charger and bracket need to come off first to get to it - the stat and housing can be changed on their own.
  2. So thats what a Super Mod is....
  3. hotdog, Welcome to the forum.... What grade/type oil are you using and what temperatures are you getting on the MFA?
  4. http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15067
  5. What you and this 'Scruffy' character get up to behind closed doors is your business and not for this public forum!
  6. Yeah - was going to say you'll need a balance to transfer to it ideally... Thjats what I do, buy everything on CC, pay the min payment and just transfer the balance if I don't want to pay it off - I don't spend cash I don't have, I just like to make more Inerest on it!
  7. Hmmm - they've been that price for a few months now, a bit silly to stick the price back up in January! Its still advertised at 99 on the website but when you click it the price becomes 149! - might be worth speaking to the manager of your store and trying to blag it!
  8. Venom, TSR, Stealth - I think most of the usual places can get them...
  9. Yep, 4 years for £60 ain't bad at all....
  10. Hmmm, not very clear is it... Did you reset the fault codes as they could have built up over years, you need to clear then and drive it until the light comes on then stick it back on VAGCOM... The rear ones may have triggered if the car was put on a rolling road, the signal outside spec is most likely I would think - Over time the magnets loose resolution and just need replacing...
  11. tattyrado, Welcome to the forum... I'm not entirely sure about this one Dinkus, I know people have done it in the past but I also know the later wings are shaped differently as well....
  12. Maybe cheaper from Ford? worth a try and they may also sell you just the pulley/bearing...
  13. I think the link above says where to get one from, you just need to find a bearing specialist in your area, yellow pages?
  14. Greens are standard, the red ones have a higher flow rate - needed if your running a 65
  15. Well, you can test the resistance across each wheel sensor by unplugging them from the top of the suspension turrets (for the rear ones you'll need to take the bench out) If one reads alot different to the rest then chances are thats the one that needs changing...
  16. Yep, the tensioner is about £60 from VAG but you can change the bearing seperatly yourself which will cost about a tenner or I think PhatVR6 was offering an exchange service on this... http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7833
  17. Welcome to the forum, Yep, GPC are probably best otherwise VW Note - Best to ring GPC as there website hasn't been updated since 1973
  18. Hmmm... their ET25, maybe try a 3 or 5 mm spacer...?
  19. What are you actually looking for engine wise?
  20. Thats only the front part of the car tho... The rear end has only done 50k's so it averages out at 100! :)
  21. I think they were superceded by the Sport 01's, other good tyres are the Bridgestone Potenza RE720 or the Continental Contact Sports's
  22. Forty, Welcome to the forum... I saw Jedi's car a few times and it's one of the best VR's I have seen and was obviously looked after before Nathan had it as well... As for the brakes, the 288mm setup seems to most cost effective way to go and if you also manage to find some second hand 4 Motion carriers you can also fit the bigger 312mm disks - GTi International would be the best place to look for these!
