Eh? :? -
Yup, my G60 has a 15... one of the last J plates
-
I take it they weren't the original wheels, Maybe G60JET can tell us what they came with??
-
I've got to say I've never been a fan of 3 spokes but they don't look bad at all! (or am I still pi$$ed from last nite?)
-
As Kev says... the fact that they did recall the mk2's for the same reason bassically incriminates VW!

Hmmm.. I did have NGK's in mine but cannot remember the part number, mine only had one tip tho... They seemed to work ok but I think the consenous is to use the 'original' Bosch W6DPO (which I now have). £10 each from the dealer but should last ages! -
If the engine has just been rebuilt it will use a bit whilst its run in (like a new car does) I take it you have checked for leaks - gaskets / seals etc, May also be a good idea to look at the heat exchanger as I take it when the engine was rebuilt not all ancillary parts were brand new. Also who rebuilt it? - may want to take it back for a check up or oil change to a heavier oil?

Like the Toaster!

Guys... There still making the Corrado - just now its called the Toyota Celica!!!
-
Yep, I'll be in contact soon Darren!!

The G-Lader is said to make the 1.8 the equivilent of a 2.6 ltr engine! But if you havn't done anything to compensate for the lack of supercharger, your car will be probably be running like a 1.4... so you will notice a HUGE difference!

Yeah me too - got kev's old ones and i added an extra washer to the spindle but the Lupo mod is worth every penny if you drive the C every day like I do!

Parts Club Pricing - Updated for 2007!
Supercharged replied to Supercharged's topic in Suppliers Forum
Roddy, Yeah, I keep a copy of the list in the car incase the parts people argue... half of them don't know it exists - I try to only deal with the people I know now and I tell them what price I'm gonna pay! - they should have a book of all the prices there. Also GSF discount 10% on everything to Club GTi members (need to show card) -

Cheers dude! - Yes you need to be a CCGB member to qualify for the prices but its well worth the £15 just for the excellent 'Sprinter' magazine or the savings you'll make on parts, you should also get a discount on everything else but its up to the dealers (or stealers) how much they give you. The CCGB website is looking better by the day and the membership details can be obtained from there. -
I wouldn't have thought it would help!
-
Could also be just a poorly fitted/sealed windscreen - check the history to see if its been replaced.
-
You have to remember tho, that there is now less surface area on the discs themselves so they will get hotter, It just depends if the cooling outways this to make it worthwhile... My preference would be grooved but thats just my opinion, they do look stunning tho - great job!

Can we 'sticky' this as the prices are still current and people keep email me for them? -
Yep, sounds hydrolic, most likely the slave, check for fluid leak on top of the gearbox and keep an eye on the resevoir as they leak internally at first... should be £28 from dealer (partsclub price)
-
If you are a CCGB member, The pump is £70+vat from the dealer through the Partsclub. Fairly easy job to change, unless you have a full tank of fuel!! - has a light bulb type fitting.
-
Josh, you will need to have remote locking to do the Passat Handle mod as you will loose the locks, if you want to keep the car looking stock GPC do the Corrado Handles for £45
