  1. You need to run it in compatability mode for windows 98/Me (right click on shortcut and click on properties)
  2. i've driven the regular Cooper S and it goes like stink!
  3. Yeah, and Tiff loved the Corrado! - so much so he spent over £100k modifying one.
  4. But he has always been a big Corrado fan tho...
  5. I think someone must have sent it in for a laugh after Top Gear requested an unmodified one for there 'feature' - nice one 8) It is next week is it Jim? - whats the betting this 'Corrado special' is less than 5 minutes long!
  6. Remember your in Berkshire which is in its own timezone...
  7. Yeah it must be! - I had to rewind the Tivo for another look - its mad!
  8. What the......???!!!! Any one on here?? lol
  9. Lol, I went to get petrol from the Shell up the road, drove less that 3 miles and saw 3 Corrado's this morning, none which I've seen before!!! - its getting silly!
  10. You shouldn't need to buy an adapter... All Corrado's were fitted with ISO plugs and the sony head unit should just plug into that with the supplied adapter... If your car has not got ISO's your best bet is to buy the standard plugs and solder them on so your car is back to how it should be
  11. The switch itself is completly seperate from the lock barrel - the triangle shape at the end of the key is the only bit that goes into the switch itself.

    Screen blower

the resister pack (rheostat) or the thermal fuse on it has gone... IE you have no resistance Have a search on here and you should find some guides to fix this. http://website.lineone.net/~quigger/heater.htm
  13. There is a hidden/awkward screw holding it in.... ...to get to it rest your head on the clutch pedal with your legs out of the window GSF sell the switch for about a 10er
  14. I don't think it looks that bad, but then again I wouldn't put it on my car :?
  15. Sounds very much like the slave... For now you may find it helps to take out the carpet mat but get it looked at asap - check the fluid level and also check for visible signs of a leak from the slave on top of the gearbox, it will leak internally at first but you don't want to get to the point when your clutch is not returning to position!!!
  16. Yeah, take them off to do Headlights, just note the wiring if you have an uprated loom and don't touch the bulbs! BTW - the side lights can be got to on the car but a pair of pliers helps to get them out.
  17. I don't think Stealth do, but maybe worth asking... They don't mind if you hang about to watch the service tho, top blokes!
  18. Yup, anything with that 839 in the middle of the part number should be fine.
  19. If you have re-adjusted the headlights and there still no good then its bound to be a loom that is needed along with some uprated bulbs...
  20. Basically depending on the car there are 3 ways of wiring in the stereo... On Sony units, there is a yellow and red wire on the adapter that need to be swapped over (plugs should be already there for this) for it to turn on and off with the ignition. If this doesn't work i suggest you get the wiring checked and put back to ISO standards.
  21. Dude, this is a car forum! - Take you "Strap-on's" and your "ROCK HARD" Bilsteines elsewhere!! :D
  22. Note - well worth doing the clutch fluid at the same time (bleed thru the slave cylinder)
