  1. Ditto with the push button start here, also.

Handy for quickly restarting your car (if you or it stalls!) as you don't have to switch all the keys off, then back on again - usually annoying your alarm in the process.

And yes, saves on the ignition switch.

    And the laydees love it...

They're always wanting to push my knob.

  2. I didn't even tweak from your comments what was gonna happen, but did wonder about the guy on the mic blabbering on about it not running right and they're just doing some runs to get it setup - with this bloke to the side of him....

It's bad for your health, children!

(And other things it would seem)

  3. Do you know your valet code?

(Printed on the inside back cover of your alarm manual, usually).

You should have a keypad (a blank and a star key) that you can tap the code in to disable the alarm if the fob doesn't work.

You can then place it into valet mode and completely disable the alarm temporarily.

  4. [70 miles!!! how come ?

Darren / G-Werks and the Pitstop Development guys hadn't really been in many VR6s back then, so they had a bit of a play.

Didn't mind in the slightest, since it needed a good 'test' anyway to make sure the work they did was up to standard :D

It's a raindrop in the ocean on my mileage, anyhow!

  5. You might need a second person, though I've managed it myself...

Get your left arm up the passenger footwell, and up the back of the dash (might need to remove a panel or two) until you can feel the wires of the stereo.

Then feed it back out the hole at the back-left as you push in the stereo.

There's just too many wires bunching up at the back...
