8-series beamer would do it for me too, though agreed, the 840 is the more sensible version ;)
I looked at a 840 before I bought my C.
Just think, if I'd gone for it, we wouldn't be here today...
(Yes, that's right, The Corrado Forum maintains life. Without it, there would be no universe).

True, but there wasn't a massive difference in the game - I have played both.
The majority of the delay was whilst the company went into liquidation, and the game changing hands.

In fact I did a review of it 30th August 2004!

No wonder it was free ;)

dub envy, I trust you have a high-res version?
Would be a worthy contribution to become a new CF banner

billinjahg60, you need to make sure you've got the right codecs installed.

They need some photos of that driving through the wet - bet the spray from the wheels would look mad!!
I like it too :)

101mpg - 2 week banVery impressive for a 16V, thought they didn't get much over 40mpg? ;)
Was it the old downhill in neutral then reset the MFA trick? ;)

Yup, Andy665's account did mysteriously vanish, abolishing all his posts in the process (never did figure that out!) so he has been around longer than his profile.
He also changes his avatar and sig a lot ;)

I have the Lamix stuff on mine, though wish I hadn't gone for the darkest tint on the fogs/indicators as its a little too dark :(
Just a word of warning though... fog lights tend to crack due to the masses of heat given off by the bulbs in there. So this isn't the be-all-end-all solution. But yes, will stop stone-chip cracks ;)
If anyone is intending on just ordering the headlight covers, can you let me know? I'd like another set of fog/indicators (the 80% light ones instead of the 65%ers I have now) but don't really want to buy another set of headlight covers too! I'd chuck you the difference plus postage ;)

FK lights, etc, have reflectors in both - so I run dual-foggies.

I noticed the new Astras have aero blades.
I would guess they would be too big - but does anyone know if there's any other new Vauxhalls with aero blades?
Might be worth a look if they're cheaper still from a non-VAG garage ;)
Also, I have the original passenger + drivers' arm/blade setup and could do with replacing just my blades as they're 2.5 years old now.
Could do with a good source for them. I can't make the passenger side much shorter, as it will miss my Rain sensor if 2cm shorter.

An empty car park is a good idea.
Else you look like a mad-man ;)

Put the wheel to full lock, then reverse.
Put on opposite lock and go forwards.
Does it clunk both times then too?
(Though not every time)
If so, I've got the same problem on my VR too.
By the time the car's in the air though on ramps, its all solid...

Blimey, I think we have a gayer mod than dinkus!
Just kidding mate ;)

Depends if he has to stop at any traffic lights...
Ooops, there goes the alloys..
Lock them doors!
(Just kidding ;))

The moment its ready, he'll post in this thread, so stop hassling the man!

It's 14 days, not a month.

But that would make the reading show you were going slower... ;)
They don't work like that though. They get the speed in n'ths of a second.

Didn't think UK police used radar guns anymore - they use laser ones.
I knew about this "get out" and before I could even ask, the copper a few months ago showed me the gun, the reading, then told me it was calibrated that morning and showed me the cert.
I think they know that we know, if you know what I mean.

Problem is the big big Audi's depreciate like fury.. I think even paying it back at £1,500 month would still see you losing big money. For a 25p deposit, I'd leave the country.
Very quickly.
(In a Lambo'd engine Audi, funnily enough)

Hmmm, just got a finance quote. (For a laugh).
Purchase Price: £50,000
Deposit: £0.25
36 Monthly Payments of £1631
The Finance company has an acceptance fee of £159 on the first payment.
They liked my deposit... :D
Ok, so I need to stop sleeping, and do a second job to earn another £20k (after tax!) to afford one...
ProPlus anyone? ;)

Was I dreaming it, or does the 850i have the ability to disable some banks of the engine for efficiency on the motorway?!
