Surely the Cnuts are in the Corrado? ;)
-
I've now set the C-word to change into the other 'C' word... ;)

dr_mat, the server is very busy come 8-10pm our time - it hosts more than the forum.
Its just the occasional spike when more than 50 people try to connect at any one time, causing someone to get the boot.
A refresh normally does the job.

Dammit, why did I have to lose the vid of me doing 120mph the wrong way through the Dartford tunnel...
Damn hard drive crashes!
(Obviously it was closed, as I was going Essex to Kent... hehe)

Rag in the petrol tank and torch the bugger!
Ok, maaaaybe a little extreme..
"Breathe in, and out, and in, and out, annnd relax..."

That, alas, would be the advantages of driving a £50 sh1tter...
*Vrooooom* *crunch*
Hehehehehe...

Friend of mine owns a shop with a private car park - and handily a Range Rover.
Anyone else parks in there - out he goes with a tow rope and drags the car onto the road and leaves it abandonned.
He loves it :)
-
Remember Scoobies also have 40-50% drivetrain loss.
That 4wd sucks the real power actually being put on the road!
The car is alright I 'spose, but I've only ever met 1 Scoobie driver who isn't a complete c**k - yes, that's cook. Hehe.
Unlike with Corrados - where the cook:top bloke ratio is a lot better.

Can't disable it by default, but can disable it altogether... so let's try that for a while.

You get told when you sign up, you get told in the email sent after you sign up, and you get told every single time you visit the site... and yet.. *sigh*

Gimme all your chips!!!
Oh, and a large cod, battered sausage, and some mushy peas...
Don't try anyfin' funny!

the door switch is a switched EARTH!Connect a permanent fused 12V to the live of the sill thingy and the earth to the door switch... that'll mean that whenever you open the door, the circuit becomes earthed and they'll light up... 8)
That sounds more like a drastic security function ;)

You have too much time on your hands! :)Nice idea though. BIIIG Revs ;)
Now you need to make the bottom LEDs+pictures into proper displays like more modern cars.. :)
I thik so! :)
LEDs+pictures?
like zarmans gages?
Yes, just like that!
Surely that mod, if a company made it, would be quite cheap?!
Would update the dash no end!!

He makes 'em, Chris.

Oichan, How do you know when people are posting things about you/your car? it seems your only on here when there is a post about you?? :lol:Well, his car is all black... I think he's Batman and every time his name is mentionned, a large CF sign illuminates across the cityscape....
Or maybe not.

but what are the contact details for John 16vG60?07974 020031
He posts it himself enough times on the forum, so I'm sure he won't mind it again... :)

D) My 3 week old boxers weigh moreIs that dogs, or underwear?

Stroller, Darren specialises in G60s and doesn't really take on VR work.
John 16vG60 is a more than helpful fellow who will look after your car and offer advice over the phone, etc. Warning, he can talk a bit, so ring him the cheapest way you can... lol

Well my car's just been picked up by the garage who's doing the MoT for me tomorrow and I pointed it out to the guy.
His response was "Ah I see what you mean. Don't worry about it mate, I'll have a word with the tester - everything will be fine. Oh, and I'm only gonna charge you £30 for the MoT if thats cool. I'll see if I can source some red bulbs for you and throw them on."
No prompting required and courtesy car, tanked up with gas.
1.4 litre Rover 25, mind, but hey.
MG Rover bending over backwards for service though. Yay for "Over" :)

Je veux changer ma roue très rapidement ainsi je peux manger mes grenouilles

I want to change my wheel very quickly so I can eat my frogs

FurkiG60, cheers bud - but I'd rather fix & forget.
Phil K, true - but its the principal! £130 lights, TUV-tested "best lights you can get" yadda yadda. First lot leaked, now these are a potential MOT failure!
John (16VG60) pointed out that it would have to be a hitler of a MoT tester to fail them, but yes, it was a design flaw that he's just noticed on his too.
Would be interesting to know whether its to the same degree on everyone's car - or if some are worse than others.
JBOB, I'll look at it tonight (I have about 30 mins from when I get home and the car's being picked up by the garage!) and let you know.
I don't have any glass paint - nor can I get any where I'm going today, so I may improvise with some black electrical tape, plugging up the gap between the red filter and the back reflector - so stop the white light getting out.
Or may just cover the bottom half of the bulb, so only the top half emits, and emits into the filter.
I'll keep you updated....
Glad to know its not just me though
