You know when you get photos done, the labs can put 'em on CD for a quid or two... Then you can put them on the forum :)
No need for a digital camera or scanner then 8)

I thought the Stage 4 Jabba included a 68mm pulley and chip?

Sod the fact the sheep is silver... according to munkay, the sheep had a car too!

Hey Jim, whilst its in you could get your bad-boy bonnet and sideskirts done... and a large rear spoiler...

TT driver: "Hmm, lets try and catch that Corrado..."
Andi spies a TT trying to catch him, so hits pedal to metal and is soon doing 130mph.
Andi then looks back to see a flying TT weaving across the road, smoke fluming from the tyres
Niiice

As I said, if you drove your TT hard and didn't go for the recall, you might regret it..

I was nearly right:
"THE SAFETY RECALL". In mid October, Audi worldwide announced a voluntary recall of its TT. The move comes under criticism that the TT looses control during high-speed encounters. From what I have read, the so-called high-speed encounters are at or above 125 MPH. That is also why there have been no reports of such occurrences in the USA. The Germans are know for speed, that's why German cars are built for speed because they really do drive that fast. The autobahn, the worlds super highway, there are no speed limits and German cars are built to comfortably cruise above 100 MPH. So German cars, like the beer purity laws, are built to handle the daily German commute. It is because of the German high speed demands that forced Audi to announced a voluntary recall in mid October of its TT. The recall involves some component replacement such as front lower control arms, sway bars, shocks and the addition of a rear spoiler. -
The Audi TT is the same, thats why they have that little spoiler on the boot now, called the conversion kit. i believe that is a MUST FIT in the states now!!The Audi TT spoiler isn't a "kit" - it is required!
There was a major recall when the TT was released, as they found the car just lifted off the road and flipped when the driver pushed the car past 140mph IIRC. Kinda large flaw me thinks. So if you see a TT without a spoiler, they either have a death-wish or don't go past 60mph... So its a must fit everywhere AFAIK! I think the recall involved suspension tweaks too.

Just curious - what happened to the cossie?
I see them stranded in the middle of roundabouts (normally with two tracks leading up to them too) a lot of the time - was one of these yours?

Post up more details..... then there's a small chance someone might see it about....

 Like I'm gonna be up before 10.30 anyway....
Would keep the forum separate anyway, don't worry about that - and as for the domain and hosting - great, means I don't have to use my own bandwidth :)
So yeah, add me as the Admin/Tech contact :)
Ping ya' l8r.

Guy was going to talk to you about that - we did a WHOIS on that domain and saw your name ;)
I know what stuff needs doing really... and then we need to discuss what new things can be done - all depending on what the rest of the commitee will allow.
Already chatted to Martyn about merchandise online...
Will call you tomorrow.
Easier to talk than 100 emails back and forth - and free since I'm on Blueyonder Talk Unlimited 8)

Yeah - it just seems a bit strange the way this has happened.
I thought I was just taking over getting the website upto scratch - not actual club committee member!
I don't mind - just wish I could be told things rather than hear them 2nd hand.
Like who do I talk to about alterations to the site?
Who do I talk to about the domain problem?
Who do I answer to?
I have the whole site on disk, so can start work when required - but I don't know what I can do without first consulting the commitee, etc etc... I don't want to annoy my fellow commitee members!
-
Congrats matey - I presume John asked you if you actually wanted to be on the committee??Nope :?

Bare in mind TT's are 4wd, so quoting bhp@flywheel figures is all well and nice, but you have drivetrain losses to take into account.
FWD rules in that department, since there is very little: 5-10%. 4wd can suck with upto 50% drivetrain loss (Scoobies for example).

Bloody Saxo drivers.

Least I get somewhere to sit at the next AGM then... 8)

Nah, mine are Audi RS6 wheels.
Faster than a TT ;)

Funny how I "officially" find out by reading it in my own forum...
Oh, I'm on the CCGB am I now? Hehe
Cheers guys!
