Can you drop the window completely by unbolting it from the regulator?

It's a really hard thing to organise. I know Dom spent a lot of time and effort on the one he produced. Getting someone to design it, then finding a decent company to pront them at a sensible price and in a short period of time was nearly impossible.

I've just got a slightly broken grill on mine. Doesn't worry me that it's not 100% perfect, it's only going to get damaged, and what's the point in spending money on one when I have far better uses for my hard earned cash.

It's becoming quite obvious a number of people are just out to make money, especially people who don't seem to have much to give to the community apart from overpriced parts. I've broken cars in the past, but only ones which were not good or safe enough to go back on the road, and felt that everything was fairly priced. Mind you, I did have a few people trying to take the piss with offers too.

Have you looked at the Ross Tech Wiki? It's got a load of ideas on fault solving. Very useful resource.

Have a look for air leaks in the intake, such as a broken PCV valve. Might be wrong, but I think that can lead to similar error codes.

:confused4: What? Depreciation isn't going to be as much of an issue on second hand cars. I think people forget that cars are consumables, you've got to accept that they will cost you money one way or another, if you can afford to run one, get one.

I'd be really wary of putting anything on the faces of the disks as possible contamination of the brake pads could occur.

I think I would verify an actual lack of boost first. Then work from there.

Most mechanical things are female in my eyes, for some reason. Never named any cars or tractors, think it's a bit weird. My ex used to refer to one car as Mrs ToadsSurname, and the other as The Mistress though.

3-5k miles. When it's dirty. Oil and filter. VR6 70-80k miles on the engine replaced in 2001ish.
