  1. Well I'm definitely interested, like to get something like that done and then framed
  2. How about you offering to take images from people and doing something similar to the above for them - I know I'd happily pay to have an image like that of my Nugget
  3. Looks good but would look better sitting a bit lower
  4. Never in to them at all - got close to buying a Merc 190 Cosworth and wife insisted I look at a Rado, 15 months later I've got two of them and don't ever really want to drive anything else. Amazed at the positive reactions I get - even when I'm in the "Shed" (Aqua G60)
  5. Very few Turbos in the UK and they would all be imports - never officially sold in the UK for some strange reason
  6. ....out walking the dog this morning when a 360CS went past (on his way to the Revival meeting), dropped down a couple of cogs and floored it - never heard such an intense, razor sharp exhaust note in my life - absolutely incredible Thought my mates M3 with Schnitzer exhaust sounded awesome but pales into insignificance
  7. I've got Momos on my G60's - a Millenium and a Corse - must admit the thinner rim on the Corse is much nicer than the really thick rim on the Millemium - have a feel of a few before you make your mind up
  8. Is it generally available - might see if one of my contacts within Volkswagen can get me a copy
  9. Tomorrow - promise - certainly looks good and appears to be very high quality
  10. £33 brand new from e-Bay, good guy I bought from, breaks a lot of MK2 Golfs. Not fitted yet but will post pices when I do
  11. ....anybody got one. Acquired one today, very nicely made and finished in stainless steel
  12. Black G reg 16V with towbar, behind you round Chertsey, then played on M25 until we both left at A3 junction
  13. Another copycat coupe convertible thats fat and bloated looking, not even as if VW's are better built than the competition anymore - they can stick the Eos. Telling that I was in the Brand Managers office at Wayside VW in Milton Keynes today. I asked him why he had a framed print of the Corrado Storm advert on his wall - his response "Last good car VW made - that will come down when VW better it so its guaranteed to be there for a while yet"
  14. So, if the car is being broken up and the DVLA has not been informed, ownership of the car could be transferred to me and I could then transfer the reg, it did have tax and has a current MOT - but that means I'd then be liable for a Golf in Cornwall that I have never set eyes on - doesn't seem a sensible thing for me to do I suppose the guy could look at getting the number put on retention (if it has not been scrapped) then just sent to me
  15. Just bought a G60 plate that is currently on a Golf that its owner has scrapped. The guy wants to send me the V5 (minus the bit that he's sent to the DVLA advising its been scrapped) and the MOT. The V5 obviously has the other blokes address etc on it - can I transfer the plate to my G60 with these docs or does the owner of the Golf have to do something Don't really want to call the DVLA cos I reckon I'll be passed from pillar to post
  16. Loved the article on BBC Breakfast News this morning by some tree hugger saying how we should all use public transport. Like to see how I could get from deepest West Sussex to Chalfont so that I could do my job, earn my salary and pay my taxes to support some unknown but sure to be living in a council house somewhere close mother of ten who can't keep her legs shut, has never worked in her life and expects the State to keep her in a manner which allows her to have her Sky, cans of Heineken and fags
  17. Depends on what you're looking for, very much a mtter of personal preferences - both set-ups are well regarded. Best advice I could offer is to try and find people who have cars equipped with the set-ups and get yourself a ride in them
  18. Thats the condition I aim to get my Aqua G60 in - too busy putting 1000 miles a week on her at the moment though
  19. Looks very much like the Connaught - doesn't look right at all
  20. I saw what must be the same RS200 in Guildford on Friday - a real minter
  21. Also like the sports exhaust style on some Porsches which look like the outline of two overlapping circular pipes - not explaining it very well but they do look good

    ANGEL EYES

Mine where amongst the first batch into the UK and came with beam pattern set for LHD but I believe that the latest ones are coming through set-up for RHD, the instructions should tell you how to convert them if you need to

    ANGEL EYES

Yes, it is feasible to replace the clear front with the original glass but you'd have completely uselss lights. The In-Pros are a reflector design and therefore will only work effectively with the clear glass front on them. The lights are easily convertable to either RHD or LHD format - takes about 5 mins per side
