  1. Lower powered versions are FWD, higher powered are four wheel drive
  2. No, normal customer price, if I manage to get Rado #157 it will certainly be going there for its bodywork
  3. Got my RS2 bumper down there at the mo, total prep and oven baked respray - £150
  4. This weeks Autocar - first proper drive impressions - what a totally stunning car, not the fastest thing on four wheels but in a car that looks that good I'd want to drive slowly so that everyone could see me Looks like Alfa have the quality - just need to get the dealer network sorted out now
  5. I have used them twice and I know of a few others wo have as well - top quality work and very reasonably priced - if I ever need bodywork, even after moving to Shropshire they'll certainly get the work. Roger has worked on a few Corrados now and knows them pretty well, I got a rear quarter panel, roff and bonnet done for £300 and the blending in is superb, he aged the new paint when mixing it to get the best match possible
  6. Why do I never got bargains like that
  7. You stole it - thats outrageous value for money
  8. Its the inconsistencies in the sentencing system that aggravates me, surely it can't be that difficult to put a clear structure in place
  9. I bought mine to the same spec from GSF about three months ago - good quality unit
  10. Does motorsport get any better than this. The first Masters Grand Prix from Kyalami........BBC1 this Sunday at 4pm with Murray Walker commentating - lets see some proper racing again
  11. Very, very cool, those cars are just timeless. Dare I ask how much you paid for it????
  12. Anyone seen the story about the bus driver jailed for five years today for killing five people stood at a bus stop. He hit the accelerator instead of the brake on a new bus he was driving and killed five people. Had been driving buses for 30 years and had never had anything but a clean licence. Maybe I have got it totally wrong but I can't see the point of jailing someone who caused what was admittedly the death of five people but it was surely a tragic accident and he does not need rehabilitation for his crime in prison If he was sixteen, drunk and in a stolen car and killed five people he'd have probably been let off with a twelve month ban and community service. If we're going to jail people for killing people in driving accidents we should surely be consistent in how we sentence people Your thoughts please
  13. Perhaps I'm being over cautious but £55 to secure OE fittings when you're dealing with such a safety related issue is a small price to pay - I did both of mine with OE fittings
  14. Not my cup of tea but looks nicely done

    BMW M6

Went out in one today - awesome - don't like BMW's but the noise and acceleration is absolutely incredible, must admit it looks pretty evil too
  16. Johns definitely branching out, doing some VW Technical Training for a good friend of mine soon
  17. Kev - you sure the Carlton GSi had cylinder shut off - you got me searching through some books and no one mentions it, mind you no one mentions the old Merc V12 having the same function either!!!! Back on topic - definitely the Porsche, pretty bulletproof mechanically, that V8 is pretty unstressed, especially when coupled to the Mercedes 5 speed auto, slightly more practical than the BM too - still have a 993 over either of them though
  18. Bet the DB9 was the James Bond car so wuld have a fully functioning forcefield around it thus protecting it from all potential accidents
  19. Found the switch last night, drop me a PM with your address and I'll get it posted to you on tomorrow night - away in sunny Norwich tonight
  20. My funds don't allow either but not often I get a bargain, just glad my new bonus scheme starts paying out at the end of the month
  21. Managed to get hold of a brand new pair of Audioscape pods and new Focal 165a's for £150 off E-Bay - bit of a result
  22. When mine were replaced they were both showing signs of breaking up internally, get them replaced guys, they might look ok externally (mine certainly did) but no guarantee that they'll be ok internally
  23. Downloading at the mo - £2 being sent as soon as I hit submit
  24. JMR is currently building a Valver with throttle bodies to go into his Westfield, may be worth giving him a call
  25. For some reason I find this very appealing, Plymouth Prowler'ish but nicer http://www.fast-autos.net/volvo/volvot6roadster.html
