Lights are easily converted from LHD to RHD, simply a case of taking off the lense and turning the lights through 180% - 5 min job per side. You also need the manual adjusters although electric adjustment is possible if you want to go down that route

....especially an original, being driven on the M25.....and driven hard, was quite proud rto be behind him in a slightly more modern supercharged car

Green Storm today N809 FKE parked at the side of Lindvale VW in Southend

The lights are made in LHD but take about 5 mins per side to convert to RHD

I had a 10V Bora, lovely and relaxed but handling is very soft and wallowy, performance adequate, economy terrible, struggled to get 26-27mpg over the 25k miles I had it for

He got the estimate today - £8400 - bet it goes even higher - very painful
-
My Puma Racing had to go - running costs were stupidly high - even when compared to the Corrado. Biggest expense is the wife

I going for the clear, did consider the yellow for the Nugget and blue for the Aqua but thought better of it

Popped into Goodwood yesterday on the off chance that there was a Track Day. Spent an interesting hour or so observing, real mixed bag of cars out yesterday - the Goodwood Track Days always seem to have a very small number of cars so at £260 for the day I reckon you get a huge number of laps. Observations on the cars out yesterday: 993 and 996 Turbos - both very fast but only the 993 sounded like a proper 911 Integra - sounded great down th pit straight E46 M3 - wife summed it up - "That car looks so boring, wheres the drama and nice exhaust note" Caterhams / Westfields - all looked very quick and the drivers where the ones with the biggest grins after each session Honda S2000 - sounded awesome when the VTEC kicked in - pity it got stuffed into the tyres at Madgwick Escort van - running Cosworth turbo - looked odd on the track but went well Focus RS - obviously tweaked but did not sound at all happy and clearly needing a rolling road session if the smaoke out of the exhaust was anything to go by Porsche 968 - very subtle apart from very deep exhaust note - looked very stable and was pretty damned quick Clio 172 - sounded fantastic, real hard, metallic edge to it, sounded very much like my old Racing Puma. Looked very composed around Madgwick, even the wife who hates Clios was impressed CAR OF THE DAY - without a doubt the Clio, beginning to see why people rave about them now

Just found this site http://eurosportacc.com/lamin-x.htm Works out at less than £30 for head + fog light kit I've ordered two sets - small price to pay to help prevent cracked lenses, especially for those with the In-Pro front lights

Aren't Newton Commercial (think thats the name) supposed to be a decent company for carpet - I would certainly be interested in a new carpet

I had never really given them much thought until last year, was just about to buy a Merc 2.3-16 and my wife persauded me to look at a Rado, less than twelve months later and I now have two -
Mine came supplied from Tachoringe with a tube of Uhu, seems to have done the job - not budged in 9 months

It was good that they axed it when it was still selling strongly. I seriously doubt that VW could make another car with the all round ability of the C now - they could do it but you could guarantee they would price it too high, if a boogo Golf GTi is 20k, how much for a new G60 or VR6 Rado - would have to be 25-28k -
Just spoke to him, apparently she did not see the Discovery!!!!!!!!
-
£5000 was my first guess but reckon it will be higher, one headlamp unit is smashed (Xenon), on a BM that has to be £600-700 in itself.
-
He swapped his VX for the M5 last week, spent ages looking for a clean one with straight bodywork - bit of a wasted effort now
-
Good job she didn't do it to his VX220 Turbo, she'd have probably killed herself
-
My wifes ex-husband let his girlfriend borrow his newly acquired M5 this morning - and promptly drove straight into the back of a Discovery complete with towbar Going to be expensive
-
I'm slowly but surely buying all old magazines that have features / road tests of the G60 - got about 20 now - would happily copy and distribute
-
You can get them from http://www.tachoringe.de - the ones on E-Bay are identical and usefully cheaper
