  1. Its impossible for it to be the belt andrew. Have you rebuilt the charger on your car your self ? check the actual keyways are aligned dont allways trust the timing marks on the pulleys 100%. Its is very bizzare though i must admit
  2. Are you sure they actually painted the sump and inside the dipstick tube ? Surley these parts would of been new items and not needed to be painted by themselves ? Why the hell would anyone paint the inside of the dipstick tube.
  3. Ah yes the dreaded budget.... well when it comes to the Corrado it always *seems* to stretch all by itself ;) I'm bidding on some KW's right now, but if that fails then Highsports are the only way to go I guess.[/quote:4c65d] I would personally be careful with buying anything like this from ebay afterall what aftersales warranty / comeback do you get with them. definatly worth checking before you part with your money.
  4. If your budget can stretch a little futher the highsports will out perform either of those 2 kits by along way. These coilovers u mention are aimed at the cheaper end of the market where everything has to be slightly comprimised to keep them cheap. although if i had to choose one it would be the AK's everytime
  5. that definatly looks like a g60 PAS pump assembly. If you post up the part number that could confirm 100%
  6. Totally agree with the above get the best you can afford and if you dont need coilovers (ie you dont want to play with the ride height) go for a better quailty non coilover set up. KW and HR do some well priced non coilover set-ups with the added bonus of the heretage in all things suspension wise.
  7. I have PM'd you some more infomation Browna_27,
  8. Woth also considering are the KW non coilover kit -40mm @£350.00 and the H&R cup kit. If you not looking at adjusting the ride height i would go for a set up like this. As these kits are designed by some of the best suspension companies with great results and should yield a far better quailty ride than a budjet coilover.
  9. ok remove the return line *the one that goes back to the block.* make sure oil is coming out of the hole when running and also make sure you can blow through the pipe that goes into the block
  10. is your return outlet clear. The only way i can see those to seals going consistently is if you have a block/obstruction there
  11. If you have spun the seals in the displacer housing you will of enlarged seal landing area meaing it will not fuse to the seal. There are ways to rectifie this problem but first we need to know exactly which seals you keep blowing out.

  14. i would also be considering the KW range if we are talking about awesome coilovers too.. kev - we can supply H&R's for £720 inc to corrado forum members
  15. I would recomend getting the fueling / timing checked before he drives the car any futher as he could be risking some serious damage.
  16. Just throw it in the bin.. Fit your new pipes and forget about that mess.
  17. no the 16v pump will be fine. are you getting fuel - spark ? if so i would check the physcial timing of the car
  18. you need to find a passat tdi ecu from around 97. This should have the 250kpa one in

    oh S**t !

How much has you oil level dropped ? I would imagine quite a bit is still in the intercooler-pipework if you didn't clean it out prior to refittting the charger.
  20. Bosch 0.273.003.210 (250 kPa) Bosch 0.273.003.211 (300 Kpa) there are not available on there own anymore from bosch but you can buy the whole ecu second hand for a few £££ just for the sender. Looks like the one you found might work also as it seems a few of the guys in europe are playing with them also.
  21. mate - we have been using these for years. Hence why i told you they were from a tdi passat. We used to be albe to buy them from bosch as a direct replacment (none of this pin differance malarky).
  22. jokes- your on here asking for help one minuite then in the next breath saying you have found somthing and wont tell anyone as you want to sell them! Thats not very sporting mate.
