  2. ok i think i have made my mind up allready but would be intrested to hear peoples opinions on the toyo t1-r's as i have a choice between these and (my current fav) nero zero's which im running on my other car's. sizes are 215-35-18 if that makes any differance... :lol: cheers D

Darren car seems to be running like its go no charger attached.. humm lets have a quick look... this is what i found. seeing quite alot of these on corrados at the moment on cars that have not had alot of tlc in there lifes... so a few minuites later we were at this stage.. and found there had been big leaks for some time *no wonder the guy sold the car it must of felt so slow* Please check the pipes guys as they really do seem to be reaching the end of there serviceable lives at the moment... :lol:

  5. The belt self tensions using the spring damper. the only way for the belt to be loose is if a, you have a dodgy spring damper or b, you have re-run the belt's in the wrong route. Does the belt look/feel loose ?
  6. and dropp the suspension 60mm and it will be sweet
  7. if it has ally end tanks could you not get them modded for 63mm ones to suit the g60?
  8. we use JP-race at silverstone.. there work and turnaround time is fantastic. and a g60 box will only cost £30 on a courier to send.
  9. if you are trying to adjust your afr @ idle the co pot will do this anything from 12.1:1 - 16.1:1 in the other thread the guy is asking how to set his mixture at idle not afr, All i have told him is how to get the afr to a stoichamectric valve at idle of 14.7:7 and when have i ever said before for people to go read the bently manual ?? :roll:
  10. or start an advert to sel yr car on ebay as it has this bit of software too now... bascially put yr reg in and it brings up model / colour / previous owners etc etc i was suprised on how accruate it was.
  11. dont set your mixture with the blue cts removed this will be putting the car into service mode
  12. afr is adjusted using the co potentiometer on the boost tube.. ideally with a wideband lambda.
  13. the AK' kit has got to be the best value "budget" suspension kit on the market at this moment... far better than the supersports/etc budjet kits. I have fitted a few of these now (as we are a retailer for FK.:wink:) and everone who has some has been more than happy with them. Granted there never going to be h&r's but for less than half the price they give people the option to corner weight at a sensible price and this will then transform the car again more than any budget coilover kit.
  14. All c/o settings should be done with a gas annaliser the people telling you to set the pot @ 500ohms are just telling you to set it at a safe level. If you have a gas annaliser set your lambda valve to 1v on idle this will give you stoichamectric valve.

  18. sounds like it could be a charger oil seal to me, pull of the outlet this should let you see ok
  19. If you have that much oil in the boost tubes you have blown an oil seal im afraid to say. pull the breather off the pipe from the rocker cover to the boost return hose just to check it not the engine breathing very heavilly. sounds like a oil seal to me though to be honest

    potentiometer g60

    The c/o pot's should be around £70 from your dealer ... To check there working you need a multi meter.. First check > in ohms put probes across pins 1 + 3 and check resistence this should be set anywhere between 450-750 ohms... they have a limit of 2000k ohms so if you getting a reading of over that its dead. Second check > across pins 1+ 2 again you are looking for a resistence across these pins, if the temp side of the pot is dead you will see NO resistence on pins 1+2 again dead. Hope this Helps
