Are you sure they were built at g-werks ? Also agree there is alot more to most of them blowing up though...I can usally find a simple reason for the faliure one a quick look inside has taken place. I also wish people would not run induction kits as they let to much crap through.

For the guys that are using it which finishing wax are you using... personally im using the NXT stuff but... there seem to be so many...ie carnuba / gold class etc which is the best as im not totally happy with the RESULTS from the NXT stuff.. 8) maybee its time to re-buy some swissol 8)

well not quite... from this.. {didnt get any pics before i fitted wheels as they went on in under 5 mins of ownership LOL} to this... but now got new headlights and currently back in the bodyshop for e38 preperation... :lol: hope you like it sorry its not a rado.

yes i have done this a few times now.... the german how-to is exactlly how i had to fit them... see above. the box-section towing eye has to be tweaked to fit.. :wink:

im pretty sure forge allready make a replica rallye intercooler

there about 30p from vag... its very important that you get the right internal size too if its to small it will restrict oil flow

im sorry i have absoulty no idea i just happend to have a chat with the painter when i picked some of my bits up so i knew how he did them..

nope but my paint-shop would .. he is actually doing one as we speak and said it only took him 2hrs to do each side.

cut steel strips 1mm narrower than the rain gutter width... weld at 1" intervials with 1/2" welds.....grind back flush....small amount (skim) of filler and the job is done correctly with no chance of cracking / rotting underneath etc..

Even a chargr with 1/2 its apex strips will still make 1/2bar of boost. Like i said you either have a huge boost leak or you Timing is out, Have you actually checked the timing yet as if it a toth out it will still start fine etc but it will also be as flat as a 1200.cc

what have you got to get sorted on your cars then before e38 show... me... passat. 1, aero blade conv 2, back to paint shop for more "cleaning" 3, polish it some more 4, stock up on cable ties for front no plate 5, get wheels re-finished rallye. finish the bloody thing... :lol:

has he check the lambda / vac pipes ?

the halford professional sockets fit the bbs bolts perfectly i have split lots af rims with one and its not showing any kind of wear.

have you checked your pipes for holes...ie boost leaks
