I won't need a 3.5 bar FPR will I?

Since having my car on the rollers at RKE, we've been trying to work out what could be wrong with my car except the belt slip. One of the things (alongside cam timing) could be the fuel pressure - wat sort of reading should I get bearing in mind I don't have a 3.5bar FPR?

ah right ok, I thought the subframes were the same on mk2's/Corrados and Passats, but thats fine I'm more than likely wrong!

Get some 2nd hand ones then - I could have told you they'd cost a bomb from the dealer!

I don't think I'll be doing sprinting in it cause if I break it I'll cry, and I keep getting offered cars which are perfect for track abuse, I'd like something which would give a bit of better acceleration and be better suited to running 17's etc...

Went to see someone I know yesterday who races a Mk2 Golf and a Corrado (posted pictures ages ago) which use the 2l 16v engine. I spoke to him about wanting to change the ratios in my box to a VR6 1st and 2nd and possibly the final drive - this is what G60 owners usually do isn't it? What I want to know its the actual ratio of these because he has a ridiculous amount of gears just sitting around in boxes, and also, is there anything else which would suit the G60 better, seeing as he has so much laying around? Cheers!

Just seen a Turbo Diesel Passat (the shape you can get the door handles from) at my mate's garage and they have a massive ARB on the front - has anyone ever used this on a Rado? If so, has it worked? Cheers!

This is a good thread. Just to add my 2p - I would like a G40, looks rubbish, goes fast. Superb! Not sure on the handling though as i've heard theyre a bit suspect, I had a mk2 1.3 polo which was a bit dodgy round corners, but then it WAS a 1.3 so who knows.
