Update...prices as below: Tails 799 Carbon fibre, 699 GRP Bonnets 690 Carbon fibre, 590 GRP Roofs 600 Carbon fibre, 500 GRP Wings as yet we don't make but if we had an order for 5 sets or more we would look to make a mould. Lead time at the moment is 3 weeks They take a week and we have 2 weeks booked If we come up with good numbers we could ask for a discount? Anyone interested I'm intrested in the following: Tail x 1 Roof x 1 wings (2) x 2

Right started making some enquiries, firstly what pieces can be bought e.g. bonnet, wings, tailgate, roof etc. Will report back when I have availability and prices. As with most peoples car my tailgate has started to rust, and wings are not in great shape :(

Wouldn’t mind getting a tailgate....wonder if it’s worth doing a mini group buy? :)

Hit a bit of a crossroads with the project....need to sort some rust before I progress.....which is fine....however this has got me thinking which direction I want to take the car, the effort i want to put in and how usable I want the car longer term. As such I am thinking about 2 very different directions after sorting the bodywork: 1. Rebuild as is VR6 > Schrick > Charger etc etc - Concerns are wiring engine loom is crispy and have replaced several sections/plugs allready + general maintainence of a modded car 2. Buy a modern car with a tfsi/tsi lump and trasnplant everything over e.g engine, box, loom, dash the lot with Option 2 being funded by all the bits I have gathered for option 1 e.g. charger, schrick, never run VR6 lump, vr6 box with peloquin diff, schrick cams, VT engine mounts Needless to say I am stuck a I do love the VR lump, but just thinking about the future, the effort I put on now and how much effort I may or may not be able to put in, in the future...any comments, guidance or thoughts welcome'd

JBL ones are more meaty sounding....ultimately better off with 6x9's

Use a mk4 washer bottle below the inner wing, see one it looks rather nice

I had a right hand drive one on my old Corrado many years ago, never fitted right to be honest, which was a shame. In the end I trashed it for SWG item, if you can get one cheap go for it, else just buy a SWG andmaybe spray matt grey/black for a more OEM look

Love the schrick transforms the power delivery, would recommend thick gasket paper as per the originals

1.3 mk3 ford escort....remember modifying it from to an XR3 replica then fitting a series 1 RS turbo kit to it lol

Agree with you mate...which is why Vince will be building up my cabmastrs engine....he knows the VR6 engines intimately lol

FYI - cabmasters engine have been sat for a few years, I purchased one and would highly recommend stripping engine, inspecting, replacing any bits that look slightly off and replacing all seals and gaskets, would also recommend replacing chain guides and tensioners, they are still old....kind of a mini rebuild

Going with TT fronts as well with drilled/grooved discs, not going to bother with Brembos as I want to keep a similar brake pedal feel. Rears will be upgraded to TT as well with vented and drilled/grooved discs

Cheers, not going to be a resto, just want to keep it on the road for a good few more years....brakes are necessity, they have a tendency to smoke when I drive hard lol

The charger only provides a mild boost, the flap in the manifold is tiny, so doubt the low boost will do much to restrict it...almost not sure wether to just sell the schrick and stick and shorter intake on it. Biggest issue I have at the moment is the loom, I have a mate who does resto who will be taking a look tonight :)
