corrado before and after pics...already a thread like this?

Venoms, they were cool as about 10 years ago but now its just not hapenning. They needed to be massive though to look good. Im not a car bra man myself but you car looks quality with the borbets on g60greeny. I reckon its safe to say that the three corrado on here which take the prizes are Jays, Lees and Bens. Mr Renshaws effort gets my vote everytime. -

Im stuck down in Portsmouth so im not looking like im gonna make it, doesnt look like ill be back until just before christmas. Around for a couple of weeks so ill keep an eye open for other northern Corrados. Definitely keen for other meets next year and understand entirely bout christmas as ive had to cancel it as well!!

Lovely car youve got there, know the lowering feeling as mine is the same!! Ive just got some plates from dubmeister as well, what a difference they make, nice subtle details. Reckon its the subtle things that make Corrados look even better.

First chuftie: Security guy stops me at the gate of a naval base and starts asking me why i have german plates on the car. Im thinking hes not gonna let me in here because they do get a bit shirty if theres anything illegal on the car. He then informs me its a gorgeous car and that VW should have never stopped making them, happy days!! Second chuftie: Car passed its MOT today with no pick ups other than the exhaust is a bit corroded. Perfect excuse for a supersprint system!!

Lovely car Phil, looked the business at the G werks do the other week. Quick question for you: Im on the look out for a 90mm chin spoiler and wondered what the going rate is for them and if they are hard to come by?? Have put a wanted thread up but so far no joy..

I might be wrong here but io dont think its illegal to have the reg plate in the window. Might be worth asking at an MOT station for confirmation. -
I would have sh*t myself!! Have seen this happen to a couple of cars, luckily they were both travelling slowly at the time. Wouldnt have been nice at high speed.

Theres some beautiful MK2s in it. The orange one is a masterpiece, Mk4 dash looks superb anyone popped one of these in a Rado before???

Always handy to know of any places to avoid. Shame someone has to learn the hard way though....

I gave mine about 5 to 6 coats of the paint, left them for a while then 1500 wet and dry them and then laquered. I oversprayed them on purpose to get a nice thick coat on and the used the 1500 again and t cut. Theyve come up like glass. Theres a pic on page 2 i think here: http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=46820 Id also recommend the stripey indicators as they are orange without green bulbs.

Michael 27 Ive had the following since i was 17. 86 Mk2 Fiesta Xr2 wannabe 93 Mk3 Fiesta, rubbish!! 99 Escort 1.6 16V, ok but tinny. 02 Seat Leon TDI SE, brilliant car, recommended. 95 Aua Corrado 2.0 16V 95 Classic Green Corrado Storm. Always admired the dubs, can remember seeing Ian Birches twin VR6 rallye in max poer when i was 18 and thinking i need a VW. Got there in the end and i reckon therell be plenty more to come.
