Been offered a 2001 Scooby WRX. Talk me out of it..

When i said the Skyline was good i didnt mean refined. My mates R33 GTR is very raw and its a flying machine!! -
Im gonna back the passat here. Ive seen the one your talking about and it is very tidy. Reckon youve got the best of both worlds with it, fun and when you need back seats and a decemt size boot its available which it isnt in a Corrado/Scirroco. The fact that the Passat is rare is an extra bonus.

Have you checked that the second hand sensor it ok with a meter??

I agree with the skyline comment, they are brilliant cars. Id stand back and think what a car says about you and to me an imprezza, unless very tastefully done, doesnt say particularly good things. When they first came out then yes they were excellent but they are almost a victim of their own success. -
Am intending on changing the gear box oil shortly and have soured some Redline fluid from Demon Tweeks. Only snag is they will only post it to my home address which is 300 miles away, not very helpfull. Therefore does anyone know where else i can try, ive checked out Oilmans site and its not on there. Any clues???

Think youve made the right choice, enjoy it when it arrives. -
There must be some way to "reboot" the system. Id imagine that when power is restored to the MFA it will sense all it inputs.

For that money you should be lookint at a VR6. There is nothing wrong with the 2 litre, i had one and i just ended up wanting the VR6. My advice would be price up insurance for both and go from there. There isnt a massive amount in it with the running costs and if anything the VR is slightly better on fuel than the Valver (on the motorway). I also havent heard anything about emissions problems.

Very nice, red looks ovely when its been cared for like that.
-
Looks like a nice motor. Keeping taking the photos, ive got hundreds of mine!!
-
Agree with VR6, the standard bumper is the nicest one available.
-
Just to keep the wheel debate going heres a shot with the speedos at the national day earlier in the year.
-
Agreed, id have prefered to have manufactured red ones. Lets get on to them and sort out a massive group buy!! In the mean time ill make do with the ones ive painted.

If i can do a decent job of mine then anyone can do it. Just take your time.

The advantage of leather is you can wipe it clean!!

Is your Corrado your "best" car, or your runabout?

Mine is my one and only. Would like to invest in another car i can use as a motorway driver. At leat i dont need a car for work so im not stacking the miles on it. -

Tough one this to be honest but i think the Alfa is a better looking motor. I reckon the Saab will have a better reputation for build quality and reliablity. -
When i was going down the dip just before the dene i pressed the brakes and the car nearly went through 90 degrees, shat myself to say the least!!

Any chance you can find a load of autoglymn gear thats had water poured on it, and a schrick manifold??
