Bolts collected today from the scrappy.. Ill put them in zip lock bags and list the quantity needed and what they are for and you can add them to your sales list.. Ill be able to think of others as well should you wish to expand your empire...

I recognise them.. The rear brake lines pass through those sticky out bits i think... I can't remember exactly how they go on the beam though...

When i have cleaned mine in the past all i have used is Megs APC or a interior shampoo.. Damp sponge and give them a good scrub.. Came up good as new.. Im not sure how they would be after a session in the washing machine...

Im planning on going to my local scrappy where there is a Corrado and ill get a little collection together of bits that would be good if stainless were available.. So long as the car has what i need and what i think would be beneficial to others ill send them to you...

Ill gladly accept commission for this.. The bolts for connecting manifold to the head (same as ones for connecting upper and lower sections of the inlet) = obsolete.. As are the ones for the coil pack and bad news for me the radiator brackets.. You in a position to acquire some of these???

As expected the radiator brackets are obsolete.. Fully cleaned up at work so now i need to think about the best coating option.. Collected the cable today, not a lot for 50 quid... Ill get the part numbers and some pics of the bits tomorrow...

Removed the bracket today, i thought it was connected to the cable, live and learn.. Ill take it to work tomorrow and give it some treatment but I'm hoping i can get a new one..

Im fairly sure a Mk2 big bumper lower chin can be used.. They may now be worth a small fortune as well.. Problem with parts like this is they always get damaged, demand high and therefore so is the 2nd hand value.. Im sure VW knew it would be a semi consumable part as well hence its new price being high...

I know this is a common problem and i have used the search to get me to this stage.. So, basically, it went, great.. Managed to remove the grill and get the bonnet open so access is fine.. Spoke to VW today and tried to order everything associated and this is what i have ended up with. The guy wouldn't give part numbers over the phone even though i had just paid for them, new policy apparently... So, on way.. Cable, from handle to left hand lever. Gromits Connection for handle to cable Connection for cable to existing cable (I'm assuming this means cable from right to left on front of car) So, what else would i need if i wanted to change everything? Next question. Where the cable arrives on the passenger side, top edge of radiator beneath the elbow there is a piece of metal which is rotten, is this part of the cable as well? If anyone has any picture of all the parts that would be great or any other info would be nice.. On a side note, price up a Heater Matrix - 150 quid....

Best plan would probably be on here from someone who is breaking a car, plenty of late spec cars getting split.. Place an advert in the wanted section and specify your colour, you never know your luck...
