Was this the engine cover with DOHC VR6 on it or the Cam cover? I am after the later as suspect it will be stupidly expensive from the dealer..

Appreciate the feedback, applied another coat of polish today and same again, smeary. Im a bit confused.. The finish at the end is great but it just doesnt seem right.. I dont know whether it is because its late in the day and its condensation.. Any ideas?? National day. nope, had hope to but work won't allow, im very disappointed.. Drive, im moving next month so not to worry...

Productive day today... Finally managed to get the underside of the bonnet to the standard i wanted so have fitted the new foam and catch... Old and new catch.. Underside of the bonnet now.. Gave the car a good wash and polish as it was a nice day.. Polish seemed very smeary today for some reason, anyone else had this? Here are a couple of pictures before it went back to bed....

That looks fabulous.. I always wanted to trim the dash in my old one. It finishes off the beige interior so well.. The car sits so well on the wheels.. You must be over the moon with it...

Dont sell it short, thats good progress... On a side note, a number of people have had issues with their cooling systems because of the black cap, treat yourself to a blue one. Something to do with pressure relief issues....

They are available via US ebay Fay, i couldnt find a new one here.. Still lots more id like to do and id like to attend some shows, this year isn't going to favourable though unfortunately...

Ill add some pictures soon, no major changes overall, i have been trying to source some new wheels but no joy yet... Ill drop you a line about the foam in due course, i am a bit centimental about the OE foam i have as i know it is obsolete and its still in the packet. I did contact an acoustics firm about possibly having a sheet made to match the OE stuff but havent had chance to send a sample of my old one off..
