  1. It is for a late car..

Thats a very kind offer Daren and yes its for a test, i don't have any way of getting to you though as the car has ran out of MOT... When you say North of Portsmouth where do you mean?

  2. Question, if required i may be looking at removing a pair of electrically adjustable and heated seats from the car. The rear bench and door cards will be coming out as well..

So what is the procedure for getting the loom(s) out? Anyone done it? Tough job? Any tips...

  3. Corrado VR6, 62000 miles in Red (Recaro, AC, headlight washers)

    1994 Corrado VR6 'M' Plate.

    In Flash Red LP3G

    MOT until August 2015

    Tax available from the DVLA

Up for sale is a Corrado VR6 that is a project. The car has been dry stored the majority of its life hence the low mileage. Excluding the wheels the car is standard. It comes fitted with a Zender body kit which was fitted at the dealers when the car was new.

The car runs brilliantly and is genuinely one of the quietest VRs i have heard. The body work is in very good condition and the car is actually red, not pink.

A huge folder of history, MOTs etc present

    Options fitted:

    Dealer fitted Diava Aircon.

    Headlight washers.

Recaro black heated and electric leather.

PAS, EW, Electric sunroof (all working).

    Speed activated spoiler (working).

    ABS (working)

    Dealer fitted Zender bodykit.

Dealer fitted upgraded sound system with CD changer

    mounted in the boot.

The underneath suspension components have all be refurbished (powder coated), new bushes, bearings all round. The inside of the arches are clean. The underneath just needs cleaned (see pictures). The car still has the original exhaust which does look tired in places but does not blow.

All lights are uncracked and are not cloudy.

This car needs attention to fulfil its full potential hence the cars price.

    Jobs needed.

Ignition switch is temperamental (new one supplied)

Door card top trims cracked (new ones supplied)

    Oil pressure does not read

Electric mirrors do not work (new switch supplied)

Heater direction controls aren't 100% working

Slight oil leak from filter housing

Bonnet foam crumbly (new one supplied)

The body kit side trims have been removed at some stage and this has left a line in the paint (see picture). Ideally the kit needs refitting professionally and the edges cleaned up correctly or the kit could be removed if its not your thing. I would suggest this is a professional job to avoid any paint damage.

The wheels fitted are wolfram with excellent continental tyres on. A set of speedlines for refurbishment will be supplied.

Price with Recaros (the wiring has been repaired and just needs refitting inside the correct Recaro trim panels (which i have). ?5250

Price with standard heated leather in good condition ?4500

    Price with no interior ?4000

P/X Bugatti Veyron plus cash my way only.

Any questions please ask, viewing no problem..

  4. What a truly awesome Corrado. I love the way we have incredible standard examples, middle modified cars and then bruisers like this which still have the OE feel to them.

If VW had ever had a day where the rule book went out the window and they thought 'sod it, lets build a Corrado with the same approach as a G60 limited' then this is what i believe they would have made..

I hope the replacement is a blinder. If you fancy a slow silver Corrado for a Sunday pootle ill swap you...

  5. Sorry to hear of the circumstances of the request and that i must join the list of people who would love to help but work has me out of the area until November...

I hope you manage to find what you need and that it is a success...

  6. Return line.. From looking underneath it disappears into the floor pan like it does on a VR and then it reappears near the master cylinder..

I haven't got any further than using colourful language at it and making my way to Durham to get another car..

Jim, id never have imagine it would split, its a small knick, no evidence that i have clipped anything elsewhere on the underneath of the car so must just have been a one in a million thing..

  7. Im not having much joy at the moment..

Went up to the car today stinking of fuel, look underneath and there is a split in the blue fuel line near the fuel filter.

    Questions..

Is this the fuel pump discharge?

    Available new?

Is the one for an 8v likely to be the same length as VR6 as it does terminate in the same are under the bonnet?

Anyone else Corrado testing their patience?
