  2. Ahh wicked, thanks lol Probably should have looked 1st
  3. Hey folks Right the time has almost come to buy a corrado. And excited isn't the word, after many choices and going through a list of potentials I just can't find anything that will satisfy me. Yea I could go down the road of an impreza and or a GT4 but I keep saying to myself "it just ain't a corrado" so i thought what the heck. I really want one so why give up on something I truly want. So basically just looking for any advice when buying a G60, the things to look out for, any things that a 1st time buyer of a corrado should know about? I've already learned so much thanks to DR.F on this forum and of course reading on here, but just anything I should look out for can you let me know please. Much apprieciated folks. Martin 8)
  4. Sorry to hear about your loss. Gorgeous car and the history is impressive :D
  5. Aye seen quite a few in dundee like zee doc says. There's another storm in the ferry and its not looked after at all, even in the summer it looks in rank condition, looks like he doesn't even wash the fecking thing :( Poor C
  6. Looks gorgeous and those RS4 Rep wheels would look aewsome 8) Defo agree with cazza on this one
  7. From what i've seen people i've spoken to about the corrado and people that have owned one, have always said they would buy one back in an instant or completely regretted selling it. Now what car can you honestly say will do everything on the level that a corrado does? No car today is as good as the corrado in all honesty. Its all electronics. If i was you id be patient with it, because you could regret selling it a lot, and finding something else to be just as good you'd only dissapoint yourself so save yourself the dissapointment and hold onto it ;)
  8. I know group b cars are aewsome but i'm already drooling at the fact of so many corrados in the one place  But aye really looking forward to this, especially to see the mighty audi quattro as well as the Metro 6R4, only ever seen one in a video so will be aewsome to see and hear these aewsome machines come back from the dead once more 8)
  9. "Scheiße, das ist nicht gut" maybe?  Lmao  Might just be spot on with that one
  10. Lmao  I wonder what he thought after he landed on the ground haha But aye agree with that Talc, wouldn't like to see one o them go in its roof with a car full
  11. Thats one thing I've found with experiences at college, with diesels u can try so many things but it could be a simple thing of priming the system. Glad its sorted :)
  12. haha no way I remember seeing this in college a few years ago and I thought it was just another slow ass car, if only I knew then what I knew now Oops
  13. Well as much as a fan I am of the latest WRC nothing will ever be quite like watching group b rags it around, now you'll only ever see them today on a video but there back for one very special stage. Read on 8) "Group B is going to be on show again this March at Stoneleigh Park, Conventry, for a Special Stage and Exhibition known as Race Retro! If any of you attended the British Rally Championship Live @ Mallory Park last year, you’ll know what Group B is all about. And we wouldnt blame you if the Kleenex is needed each and every time you hear those sweet sounding words! The exhibition is being held at the International Histroic Motorsport Show and will house Group B greats such as the Audi Quattro, Lancia Delt S4 and Peugeot 205 T16 as well as renowned Rally Drivers; Stig Bloomqvist, Pentti Airikkala and Russell Brookes. Furthermore there is going to be a classic car auction on site. There are over 40cars competing at the Special Stage at Stoneleigh Park, and is going to be held between Fri 23 & Sun 25th March" The link here will give you all the info you need - http://www.historicmotorsportshow.com/default.asp 8) And i hear with every ticket a packet of kleenex is included
  14. That looks absolutely gorgeous, very clean 8) GIXXERUK - One hell of a shine on that :luvlove:
  15. that game was class  Just pure evil haha. Bug aye sites like ogrisch shouldn't be allowed on the net, if people actually wanna see people getting tortured and be-headings n all o that then there's summit not right in there noggin.
  16. I was gonna say that lol Check out the guides they'll help you for sure, and get a haynes manual too, never let me down yet :)
  17. "death metal" music, pretty evil video like
  18. Ermmm not to keen on the looks but its been built for performance, and i'm sure by that engine bay it performs 8)
  19. I was jsut thinking that, setting the timing on the cams would have been high on the priority list before bolting anything down.
  20. Cobalt drills are exteremly strong, with a powerful enough drill then hopefully that should be enough to drill the bolt. Fingers crossed :)
  21. Aye didn't wanna spend all that money kitting it up, no point in all honesty. Its still in the present state, and will be on the road this month but from what i've read the back end will be really light when driving "enthusiastically" lol But hoping to have my g60 before the summer, really really reallyyyyyy can't wait
  22. After seeing some of those pics i think i'm ready to cry, and cry a lot What we should do is set up a fund to buy them and return them to standard
  23. Hey folks Unfortunately this isn't a corrado so your probably dissapointed already lol But for now this will have to do for a while until I start my quest to get myself a g60, took me a while to decide on which model to go for, as the vr6 noise is just sheer car porn for me lol, never had the pleasure of experiencing a g60 as of yet but hopefully that will change. Anyway getting carried away with corrados already and I ain't even got one yet haha, all good. But for now this is my 1st car, have owned it for over 2 years now, its off the road just now due to having a small accident with a tree, in which a greasy road and nankang rubber wasn't a good combination. So for the past few months or so, as well as working on my music I've been working on the car, its a peugeot 106 Zest 1.1 multi point, fairly nippy and will keep up with the 106 quicksilvers as well as a few other bigger engined cars. So i've been stripping it out, so now the car no longer has any sound proofing inside what so ever, even the roof lining is out for some big plans. I always wanted to have a car that stood out from the rest so this is it, thought I can't sell it without finising it 1st. I've got plans to turn it into a complete track car when I get my corrado so a tuned gti engine shall be dropped in. muhahahaha As you can see from the pics its fairly empty inside, so it should be even nippier now, even though it will be a 1.1 for a while, will still be fun driving it. Anyway the plans are to make a replica of a spanish 106 rally car which involves a full red and white respray then it will be booked in to get its vinyls on, as well as a gti bodykit, gti spoiler and small lower hatch spoiler, along with 2 bucket seats, racing wheel etc. And a couple of other unique touches too hehe. What you all think?
