http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=55166&hilit=thermostat+housing Can be done with out taking the front off like in the link above but imo alot easier with the front end taken off. Just remember when you do take the front end off the headlights do not have to be removed as the slam panel comes off as one.(usually the screws on top of the headlights just round off)

Thats normal on most cars mate the mileage etc staying on after switching off

Rear quarter panel gave it away for me as for a cause 4x4s are known for dodgy handling round corner very top heavy

If you mean just the mileage and clock are left showing then yes thats normal after you take key out if you mean they are still lit up then thats not normal

Yeah take it for a good run out then come back leave it for a while then check your oil cap should have dissappered hopefully if not then your worst fears come true
