  6. too many variables to predict.An engine is more than just the sum of its parts. Find someone on the web with a similar setup so that you can guage from there.
  7. Ah, but isn't Yan using a VR throttle? :confused4: the g60's/16v have a simple hook that has a reciprocating hole kinda behind the clocks. I looked into the Vr cable.I attained from from Toad farm and i couldn't see how it would fit,although the end of it didn't exactly encourage close scrutiny. I think toad found it in the cow shed. :gag: Not that i wasn't grateful. :)
  8. No,not at all. Cam considerations for a blown engine is different than for a turbo. vr6 throttle cable. you would have had to mod it at the driver end then?! Hats off. I'm going to use a golf driver one.
  9. Rebuilt and ported head, KR head with KR cams. No-one makes any off the shelf cams for an FI 16v but saying that most of the reading I have done seems to lean towards keeping a mild cam in there anyway. The last thing you want with the G-lader is to start shoving boost out of the exhaust valve due to an overlapping cam profile. Still been fiddling away the last couple of days on it, lots of things coming together in my head, got a few bits on order that should let me complete another couple of systems, next big problem is the bastardisation of the power steering 16v setup towards a G60 one and relocating the reservoir to the washer bottle location. Need to route and sort boost return set-up along with the feed for the ISV from that. Yeah I wanted to run a abf cam for that reason,as it has less duration that the KR cam,but I have had valve reliefs cut specifically for the kr cam,and the abf cam has more lift sso don't want to risk it.The KR cam shouldn't be too radical although probably not optimal for a supercharged engine. Nice to see u tinkering about on it again.What throttle cable are u using btw?
  10. Yeah, that is a bit step but it is a reasonably complex bit of plastic and when was the last time anything on a Corrado that is made just for the Corrado was a bargin? :lol: They must been made out of kevlar. I'm sick of the corrado tax.

  13. cool.I don't think i'll use the cowling.I am hoping that Crazy-dave can help out with a custom 9/11 bracket for a pair of spals. :) Or if not i'll find another way to mount a pair. :)
  14. Does anyone know if the 675 rad is designed to use the standard g60 fan cowling?
  15. would it be possible/really expensive to make a one off bracket for a 675mm rad,for use with a 9/11 fan? I guess you'd need to know the measurements for the mounting screws?

  17. You could always fit the wider aircon radiator for the G60 its a monster at 675mm and I think you can get them from various suppliers. thanks yan,thats a great idea. :salute:
  18. isn't awesome in manchester? Any good mechanic who has worked on a few VW engines will be able to sort out your PAS. A trip to g-werks would be a tad excessive.
  19. thanks,I have used the search to see if anyone has mounted a vr6 rad in their g60 but I didn't find any hits. I basically want to run a larger rad. well I guess ill have to suck it and see,buy a VR rad and sell it on if it doesn't fit.

Good stuff.ds like your nearly there but i know what it's like.It seems like you have a 1000 little jobs to do. :) I'm planning to vent vented boost to atmos and then feed the breather on the block back to the charger. Are you feeding both back then/neither or just one?
