  4. may try ferodo ds2000`s next as they are allot cheper than the pagids,, also its a bit gutting that you cant get brembomax disks for the g60 only the std brembo ones,,
  5. just located some on motorworld but £157,,, gonna try in gsf see if they can order them,, clutch seemed ok on both days, (got a new vr6 one in there)

  8. yeah the brakes were smoking every time i came in, the passenger side front disk now has an 8mm wide groove in it!! fitting new ones at the weekend, some of the locals know the place so well and are such good drivers it is amazing what cars you can get overtaken by!!
  9. i wouldnt mind going over easter time that way i could do an easter one and a late summer one,,,
  10. i didnt time it as it was my first time and didnt wanna stack it trying, gotta be between 10 & 11 mins though on the quicker laps i done,,
  11. yeah go for it mate, next year i will be posting up all the dates etc to try and organicse a mega convoy over there,, for fery crossings you want hoverspeed.com, really quick crossing,,
  12. tyre wear was not too bad i have pirelli pzeros,, and they lasted well and gave good grip throughout, before going i installed a new clutch and an oil cooler, full service new brake pads etc, as i was not confident in the existing clutch and oil temp can be a prob on g60s, i have uprated the suspension and bushes too, due to the nature of the track you can drive round on the torque, my oil only went up to 106 on one run mainly stayed at onbly 98,, the 13 row mocal oil cooler was working excellently, think the trip cost me £600, with two full days on track, we stayed at slidersguesthouse, an excellent place run by an english ring fanatic called bren, only about 20 mins from the track, car done about 1550 miles in total on the trip, ask away anything you need to know,, i can point you where to find directions places to stay etc,,, anyuthing you want really, we went in a convoy of 5 cars, and invested in some of those pmr handheld walkie talkie radios which were a godsend, I took my full toolkit and some spare hoses, belts etc,,,
  13. there is a yellow g60 down here, looks awesome i think,, pretty rare too i beleive
  14. best weekend ever, coupla pics here,,, did 21 laps in the car and only problems were a loose lambda probe, and wrecked my front disks and pads,, first time i have taken the rrado on track and it was awesome,,
  15. switches are £20,, from VAG,, can be pretty sure it would of been one of the first things steve would of checked,, as they wear out and for the price of them you prob best change it anyway,,
  16. excellent work your doing here, well done for having a go yourself,, and putting it all down here so others can learn too :thumbleft:
  17. g60`s are heavy ish on fuel riley,, about 32 mpg on the motorway, and in town well,,, 20mpg is not uncommon or much worse,,, takes allot of power to spin that charger round when its not getting used,,
  18. black sensor would not effect running it only is used for the gauge in the dash pod,,
  19. yeap they click, there is a diafragm in there just delete the carbon cannister and associated piping, do a search on here to see how to do it,, you dont need any of that lot
  20. if you get a lysholm you need the silencer kit,, however you need to be carefull as apparently the weight of the silencer kits can cause the charger to flex siezing them up,, if you do use a lysholm ensure it is supported at both ends to avoid this,,
  21. i have beaten a clio 182 in a mk2 golf 8v that i have built for my brother, 2 ltr pack c head cam etc around castle combe no problem,,, this is a proper road car too, leather interior etc,, clio 182`s arent that quick,,, last pic is on the coastdown lap so no comments about not being near the apex cone please,,,
