  1. yeap, do not confuse boost with power!! boost is a measure of how restrictive your engine breathing is
  2. tha part number for the crank pulley is on the sns tuning website,,
  3. 19 pages to find out the car needed a basic set up,, :cuckoo: proves that if you dont know what your doing your money is best spent with a specialist!! :salute:
  4. you sure your cam timing is not out or something, as if it was out your engine would not breathe very well and give you a high manifold pressure reading due to the restriction,, 23 psi really is allot of boost,,
  5. my corrado is my daily driver as i feel a car should be used, and my Mk1 gti is my track car,, mind you i did take the corrado round the nurburgring :D
  6. impressive boost,, you aughtta get a big valve head on there to make that boost work for you,,,
  7. i could probably do mine myself but that extra £100 brings you allot of piece of mind and expertise on a part that is so expensive, hence when my rebuild is due i`ll be sending mine straight to G-werks,, :thumbleft:
  8. and what size poulley do you have on the charger?
  9. It will be fine, only way it would pink is like henny says,, so long as your car is set up properly and you drill the box in a fashion as not t0o suck in hot air from the enging bay it will not pink,, :D
  10. think c and r sella 70mm according to their catalogue, also ridgeway racing used to do them,,
  11. G-werks pulleys have a special profile on them superior to some others to help against belt slip,,
  12. you can buy the co pot fittings to weld in either in ally or steel from http://www.bahnbrenner.com
  13. at the nurburgring i outdragged one in my G60,, they are quick though!!

    Power run :)

looks good whats the spec of your car?
  16. that looks nasty, good job you have got good hearing and took the charger off straight away!
  17. trial and error and the G lader? not a good mix, however this is new ground,, :thumbleft: for starting this thread and getting some reasearch and ideas thrown about,,, To be safe i think a boost return delete is unfortunatley mandatory,,mind you that wont be so bad if we can get rid of the squeeling noise on part throttle, the carbon cannister take of lugging looks as if it may ovecome this one with a nice length of pipe on the bypass outlet,,, may be worth going on the pitstop developments forum as steve and co have fitted aquamist systems onto a few G40`s,,,
  18. lever off with two teaspoons,,, :thumbleft:
  19. yes i have the fuses, fitted mine last night all is well and good now!! so if you want one PM me i have 4 spare ones!! I did regrease the bottom bearing whilst i was there too  :D
  20. thing is with g60`s everyone wants an unmodified one, but they really are a different beast with a chip and pulley, once you have tried that you will never go back, its how they should of come from the factory
  21. wouldnt mind getting some of this in blue,,
  22. I have this mod on mine as gavin pointed out when he re-bushed it for me, and i am also running a shorter belt,, seems to work well,
  23. if it is off a pb eight valve it will fit fine, you just need to tap the m6 thrread near tha alternator in the front of the head to m8, and tap a thread in at the back for the bracket for the sender that attaches to the fuel rail
  24. dont stay in first gear for too long in sthe secret, use the torque through second and thrid where you can get the power down,,,changing gear at 5700 rpm, mind you 6. something seconds in a rrado G60 does seem a bit quick,,,
  25. if your getting a real performance difference on a small engined NA car in hot and cool conditions i would suggest the base value of your Ignition timing may be set a little too advanced
