get the bulk of it off with a cloth etc. then get a tooth brush or wire brush on it to remove as much of it as possible(on the dry chocolate) as it should just come off like dry mud. then use an interiour spray/ carpet cleaner to get the rest out. theres a nice apple smelling one in halfords in a big black can with an orange lid its called ambersil auto groom foaming upholstery cleaner its really good stuff.

yeah that is a tad annoying my mum hates it especially now its lowered but im ok im only 21 and petite! i agree with the lights being like candles they are useless both the standard ones ands angel eyes hid ket and uprated bulbs are definately needed.

dont get me wrong i love my raddo and atm i wouldnt dare consider selling it. but there are definately a couple design flaws on the old girl that get me down. firstly the wipers are awful they are just pants and where u put it up eg for washing the passenger side one digs into the bonnet which is crap its strips the paint. another is the pocket just under the steering wheel i love the fact that all the trimming is carpetted thats wkd but that pocket is tiny and it gets shallower at the back so hoovering is a nightmare. another hovering nightmare is getting down by the seats and also there is a flap in the back by the back seats that gavers dirt. on the plus side i love the interiour its deffinately made for comfort both the door card and window sill is designed perfectly for arm rests. and there are little foot rest by the side of the clutch very nice. a further flaw is the parcelshelf things that attatch to the roof. its hard work if you ever need a new one to put it through the whole. well theres my little rant what do u guys think are the raddos flaws and good points?

perhaps you need a new motor for it as they can be funny.

cool thanks guys.i have always had a bit of trouble with reverse as in it crunches!(yes i have my foot all the way on the clutch) but if i do it slowly its ok. ill have a look at all those things and hopefully be able to sort it.fingers crossed

hello its only started happening reacently but it sometimes finds it hard to go into first and second? its as if it feels like im pushing the gear stick over too far and it gets stuck :shrug: if i put it in neutral giggle it a bit and softly move it it goes in. any ideas? thought it may of been the slave cilinder or a bolt loose on the selecter but i dont know. help will be much appreciated

meguiers stuff is good! never used to use it but everything i have used is wicked!

ive done it and drove around without displaying thats the only thing you will get done for! (not displaying) so just dont go to carparks where ppl can look at the car!

sorry too hear that there are some asses out there for instance my tyre vaves keeping getting nicked and my polos tyres got deflated! i think its an ass that lives round the corner in a rival car club! id just take it to a paint shop and get a quote dought it would be that much! my mate got his clio spoiler done for £50. and mum got 2 panels done for £200 on her crappy ka! but they are both made out of cheese unlike raddos!

definately a good upgrade from a mk3! good choice! i agree on the load i dragged mine down to devon with a full load and didnt have a problem. you could definately feel it as ur driving but mr raddo still pulls on no struggling!

cool nice pics! there was a special edition pvw i think it was that had all americans vw's in it! some of them were mega cool! its quite funny how the general vw scene is so world wide is quite cool really!
