  1. Handy for babysitting though Sean ! Car looks cosy in there , look forward to updates :)
  2. Looks very nice :) Could be worth trying a motor for the sunroof fault, mk3 golf ones fit fine though they look a little different.
  3. It was a shame about the wind and rain John , it's such a good show but good weather makes it more so. Would also be brilliant to see yours run down the strip some time 8) Btw , do you know who won our class in the show & shine ?
  4. No problem Jim , it was a bit cold . I'm really glad I bought a jacket as I nearly forgot it .
  5. Nice to meet Stu175 & son today along with the other chap with a lad (sorry didn't catch your name) and short chat to Jim , John , Troy and good to see Ben again after too long . Well it wasn't the weekend I had planned as I didn't camp Saturday (gladly) ! due to the rain but I still enjoyed some drag strip action today with some awesome cars and the Jet car !!! Does anyone know who won modded water cooled ? My guess would be the caddy parked next to me ? Only took 2 pics Johns and mine Would be amazing to seeing John's on the strip one day soon hopefully 8) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. I'm coming early tomorrow now, decided to avoid the possibility of wet camping, light weight I know ! on the plus side should be in the C now :)
  9. This is overdue an update though not a great deal to say, The car has largely been ignored since Stonor though visited a local meet at Beaulieu and got voted into the peoples choice top 10 which was nice, The H & R coilovers have settled in nicely and i'm pretty happy with them. Had an mot in early August ( all good ) Took a 530 mile round trip to Harewood for the Vw Festival and CCGB national day, had a great time and the car drove perfectly though the driver suffered in the hot journey and traffic jams on the drive there ! Hadn't been out of the garage since then, apart from cleaning so took the car out this eve for a nice little drive as it was a lovely evening, and tried to get a few decent photos The summer is disappearing fast but should be able to get at least one more meet / show in :)

  13. That bolt is a complete b*tch to remove once sheared , could offer suggestions but it's probably best to just get it out any way you can, good luck :(
