  6. I'm finding all this rather depressing, I voted remain , and was surprised to wake up to the news this morning that the vote went to leave. With the build up to the vote being supported by the likes of Richard Branson, Alan Sugar and Steven Hawking to remain I can't believe the vote went to leave , fronted by Farage and Johnson !! My only hope is that surely more than half the voting public can't have made such a terrible error and things will turn out fine. It would be nice to hear something more positive from the government and general media as I think the country needs a boost to say the least :( Right , I'm getting a beer , it might all be ok in the morning !
  7. Well if I had kept my last one it would have been nearly 15 yrs now !! But I didn't so I'm a bit of a newbie with this one at 1.5 years :)
  8. That's a shame Sean :( Will be easier for us to meet you at Beaulieu Jez :)
  9. Lot 233 is one of my all time fave cars, Alfa Montreal 8) I have only ever bought 1 car from an auction , a Ford Crapi that turned out to be very rusty ! I was 20 though and didn't know any better! I think my main concern would be not being able to have a really good look over / drive of the car beforehand . The Delta's look lovely 8)
  10. Happy Father's Day Corrado Dads ! Hope you are all getting treated today :)
  11. I saw yours at Stonor, beautiful 8) Have a picture on me ! Out of curiosity what colour is it ? I thought Bmw carbon black ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Thanks :) Early days yet as I have only driven on reasonable quality roads but first impressions are good.
  13. Welcome back to ownership :)
  14. You are right Rob, they are hard work to keep clean, the Speedlines are so eeeeasy :)
  15. Thanks all for the nice comments:) So having had some BBS RS stored away for 8 months now along with some H & R coil overs I thought the time was right to get them fitted. Not been in a hurry to fit them till now simply because I have enjoyed having a standard car for a change. So they are on, pictures say it all really 8) lovely wheels . Will be keeping the rest of the car completely as it is though so when Stanford comes around again it won't take much effort to get it back to standard. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I have one though I can't remember which side it is. Its not perfect though, it has a small nick in it. If interested I can dig it out and work out which side it is.
  17. :worthless: !! must be my age but i have really grown to like village shows / fete's etc :)
  18. The engine doesn't have to come out to do the timing chains but if it's out anyway I would also replace the stat housing, seals and crack pipe , sump gasket, front and rear crank seals, oil cooler seals. Timing chain kit can be had for a couple of hundred or so and about ninety for a clutch kit Cost ? Couple of days work really so depends very much on the labour rate of your chosen garage/mechanic.
  19. Nice :) is that your ship ? The carrier?
