Hi Kip, sad to see you thinking of selling , I know from recent experience that you will have thought long and hard about it. Just don't do what I did , sold mine 6 months ago and now find myself with another as I missed it so much. Perhaps you could keep just 1 for shows (love the Nugget personally)even though I have another Black one! and get something completely different as a daily ? Good luck with whatever you decide. Hi all, Having bought the cable repair kit for my sunroof I have now discovered I need this bit too. It's not currently available from Vw & I need to get the sunroof back in. So if any of you have an old sunroof laying about and you have this part I would be grateful if you could let me know. It is fitted on the passenger side of the frame and is the first bit to come out as you slide out the mechanism. There is a part number stamped on there - 722 686 987 L1 Note the top left lug is broken off mine. Many thanks :) Daren

On my old car the tailgate felt fine to open & close but this car has less resistance & it feels much heavier . I think genuine struts would be the only way to go.

Ok, thanks Sean.had removed the inner triangle but didn't spot a screw. Will look properly tomorrow !

Would you be able to do the trim along the top of the passengers door card ? Needs to be black and very good condition.also did you have any luck with the sunroof part ? Cheers Daren .

Yep, red on mine but could do with re paint, just wondered what paint you used?

Are your rear shocks new , or have you re-painted them Chris ?

Don't rule out the 2.0 8v either , I would probably have one over the 16v tbh

that lift looks awesome - what type/brand is it please? It's a Bendpak mid rise scissor lift, good also because it's portable and not fixed to the floor. Yes Easypops, it is mine, This is where I work from self employed , and it suits the low workshop roof. Thanks all for the welcome back 8)
