Its a half inch rim, but as Paul says it looks deeper because it dishes back in on itself first, aftermarket rims come staight out, therefore like for like the OE rims look wider.

Probably not have any problems at all with that combination.

Any additional width of dish is halved in ET. ie go one inch wider dish 24mm. Will decrease ET by half eg 12. Therefore ET 24 plus one inch extra equals ET 12. Plus adaptor is 8x16 ET0.

Chees guys, the wheels look stunning IMO, its a bit of a gamble but I think they should give the car attitude. With swapping between the 2 sets I hope to give the car something of a Jekyll and Hyde personality LOL

Richard sold the car long ago, since then he had his Pistachio green VR6 Polo, then the Lupo 20VT. He was about to finish a Nimbus grey MK2 Golf 20VT which was created out of a VW legend the peppermint green MK2 built by Simon Leung many years ago.The MK2 chas been sold on now..

Richard now has a Corrado again an Aqua blue? VR6, which will become a full on show car, previously owned by a friend of his and forum member C8HAU, running 9x16 Brocks at the moment, but not for long
