hello there & welcome a US rado in netherlands, thats a first ive heard of :) good luck getting it back to how you want it.
-
m8 the only RSI you will be getting is from all the typing on this forum!!! PMSL
-
no they dont have enough pressure really wayne - if the garage is having the car again ask them to give the roof drains a blow out. it is a 30 second job once sunroof is open so they shouldnt charge you BUT you can check if you even need to blow them out first by testing with water as i described ;) PS an airline uses an air compressor which tend to be bulky & costly
-
no need to remove anything wayne open sunroof on slide fully fill a bottle up with water, 500ml with a nozzle helps in each of the four corners, one at a time m8, pour a little water into the channel & then check if it comes out under the car from the respective corner IE if you pour water into the front left drain it should end up coming out from under the front left wing if you dont see any water making it to the ground the channel may be blocked - a good squirt with an airline should budge the blockage IF you find a blocked one it might be worth checking if water is getting into the cabin or overflowing the channel on the sunroof cartridge i believe it is worth giving each drain hole a good blow out with an air line just anyway as a just in case ;)

it will be grit or dirt between the gold clip you can see making contact with the gold ring take the steering wheel off & clean both & then put a little grease on both of said contacts & refit i very much doubt it is your column m8
-
yes m8 undo bottom caliper bolt, swing caliper up, take out pads, copper grease on the back faces & refit should be job done
-
the VR6 needs to be driven quite hard wayne if you want spirited driving being in the right gear at the right speed with the right revs will come the more you drive it

it is a shame you have lost the love zak - it looks a lovely motor, good spec, the right upgrades & recaro's too mmmmm id like some recaro's!!!
-
its helpful to put a bit of tape on the steering wheel & then on the trim cover behind it, in line with each other, as its easy to get the steering wheel back exactly where it was

ahhh light is shed lol paul - might be worth you putting an advert in the for sale section with some pictures ;) though unsure if you need to make a minimum number of posts - jim?
-
perhaps i can shed some light as the OP PM'd me - a copy of such below & sounds like a new member has tried to post something, jim could you take a look for them pls it meant that there was nothing showing i the thread apart from the subject line - thus a mystery as to what something you say we may want Oh I see thanks I have just joined and I think the mods block it till the post has been read by them?
-
is this the mystery thread
-
nice jim - i like your door liner
-
ha ha ha brilliant wayne lol
-
wayne dont worry too much - you have done the hard work getting the brakes apart in the first instance, thus they should come apart easier on a 2nd time ref the pivot - i think you can just loosen the top bolt on the back of the caliper, remove the bottom bolt & then pivot the bottom out & upwards
