Right Sooooo, I have a new power steering belt for an 8v golf. Same profile but 12mm shorter hopefully will be able to tighten this one up. Also, have been experiencing a distinct lack of power and this could be one of three things... 1/ I didn't tighten the alternator properly when i fixed it the other day and the belt isn't torqued correctly as a result. 2/ the charger is slowly dying. I know it's loosing oil already... This might be time to declare of road. 3/ i have an unknown problem... Boost leak, ignition problem etc I'm having a look over the car tonight so I'll let you guys no what I find. :) Sent from my iPhone you lemon!

no he's right, Also conversely I know a chap who hooked his ABS light up to the ignition switch so it LOOKED like his ABS was working because he had fitted hubs without ABS sensors.... :lol: he went through fine ;)

I am a little bit of a corrado retard though... i might have been driving round on a mk2 drivers seat for the past 2 years knowing me! I'll see if i can find it. I might be interested in the handle depending on what i find! ;)

hi there! I love my drivers seat... it's wicked. Especially with the new foam I've popped in the drivers side bolster. I realy like the OEM standard seats for their comfort on long runs. However the passenger side although mostly comfortable is far to high... most of my friends and my GF are quite tall and it's hard for them not to hit their head all the time. This is mainly because unlike the drivers side seat the passenger seat doesn't adjust up and down with the lever. My question is, can you fit the drivers side mech to a passenger seat? You'd need to keep the seat so that the handles are on the right side to lift the seat back but the mechanisum from a drivers seat? would it fit onto the seat correctly and would it fit into the passenger seat well correctly? :scratch:

Agh poop, only just seen this... I think it's most likely a mixture of location and the current market. It's a shame but I think the price is more than fair... You could try advertising on Svag but they ask for a membership fee I think, or piston heads obviously. But I think your just too far away. Tis a shame your selling though but I suppose with the 16v going and the VR to fix you don't need the extra hassle of a third corrado. You could swap it for a nice black g60... That would also work... It doesn't get TOO hot in the air intake, all you want is an air tight seal...

yep... there wouldn't be enough power to get the ignition system working so the car would slowly get worse and worse until it died...

Poor you... :( I first lived in South marston about 5 miles outside Swindon on the A420. Then I moved into stratton next to arkell's brewery in kingsdown.
