im sitting at work and have got REALLY bored so i decided to make another Corrado racing league thread. There seems to be allot of ppl who wont to race but where to late for the sunday nite League and im getting itchy waiting for another race! i was thinking of an endurance style event over allot of laps to force pit stops and tyre changes ect. If anyone's interested linky

THE RULES 1. All the races will be Long Distance track events that would necessitate the need for pit stops during the race (min 40mins) 2. VW Corrado only with maximum PI capped at 500. 3. Points awarded for race results in an F1 style allocation, 10 for 1st, 8 for 2nd, 6 for 3rd down to 1 for 8th. 4. Driving aids will all be forced off except for braking line and ABS 5. The simulation option will be full (this means tyres and fuel as well as damage!) 6. Grid order will be random 7. Race times will often be long! allow for at least an hour of racing 8. The race will be on every Tuesday night starting at 8pm. If you cant make it every week then please let someone else take your spot in the league who can 9. Race results, best lap times and current league tables will be posted in this thread in this post. 10. Drive through penalties will be enforced for poor driving etiquette. If there is a consensus that one is deserved during the race that player must stop and take the penalty. If they refuse and its clear in the replay that they where driving like a plum then that person forfeits their points for that race.That will be me out of the running then!!! There are a few bugs like that, for some reason the PI limit does not always seem to work but it only crops up in the career (single player) mode of the game. there are some races where there is a "minimum" class restriction, not a max. so in your case Dude you had to have a VW ABOVE class D. check the tournament restrictions next time you race

if its a resonance problem you could try stiffening up the exhaust? maybe retro-fit a stainless steel bracket near the centre. That should change the resonance frequency of the exhaust. Dont wont to make it too stiff thou, it may end up ripping something off the car ! :lol:

That is not going to happen, if I could take the video straight off the xbox onto my PC then I would do more, it's just the upload and download rubbish. The only reason I have the time to do it now is I am off work for a week! Jamin, the video should be available straight away on the Forza website but you need to log into the site with your MSN passport(top right corner) to get the video option to show up, you only get 24 hours before they delete it and only you can see it/download it. I didn't get the timing quite right on this one, some of the cuts are too jumpy between sequences. The reason it's mostly Jamin's car is that you got a better view of all the cars and it's easier and quicker to encode 30 secs of the replay camera with it's different angles than it is to keep switching angles and cars. is it possible to download the replay from the store front?

Not sure about the grid, it was on random last time but maybe reverse skill or something. after the first race its goes in reverse order.. so who ever wont the previous will start at the bk. There are SOooo many choices in the game setup menu thou im sure you can change it

i was consistently getting 1:35... but it sounds like im going to have to improve on that if im going to do well! 1:33 is very quick! :pale:

Last night i was plagued with "the hub" syndrome! also, i clearly stated that i intended to loose the second race... my S class corrado wasn't up to the corners :lol: Mind you, thinking about it i think it was VR6 where i beat him with a dodgy gear box... was two days ago
