  1. So the cheapest option you have is to buy the sender off ebay and the Johns pump , or alternatively cut a hole out of the chassis floor and do a Freddy Flinstone. I think all in that's under a £100 which is £250 cheaper then the JP pump and sender that VW Heritage was selling and by the sounds of it not even 4 bar,so your on to a winner.

So buy Jon’s pump he is selling on here and get the late sender off of eBay ?. I’ve typed in corrado fuel pump sender / vdu , all that comes up is the pumps ?.

  2. Chaps , sorry to put this post up . BUT . Can I have the correct link to the jp pump and can you confirm that the sender fits . I’ve had fuel problems today and I’m sure the pump is knackered. I need to order it now. Also , reading through this the pierburg is the early style ?, that’s what is on the car now , so I’m presuming the float will not fit the new pump .

  3. Thanks Sean and Fender . Yes I was going for the Oem look , well as much as you can do with a MK2 scuttle. There are only two on Ebay at the moment, one only has one pic the other doesn’t look great. I will take a look else where and see what I can find .

  4. As far as I know , a small amount of cutting is needed to make these fit . I’ve had electrical problems recently and one of the causes was water getting into the ECU plug . So I was thinking of buying one . How much work is involved chaps ?.

  5. Evening all .

Has anyone else had trouble with the wrong parts sent from JnR ?.

I purchased both shafts for my VR, the passenger side is right but the drivers side is wrong , it wont fit . I have had to email them as i cant return it through ebay ?, it days they are not excepting returns at the moment ?.
