Ah I see, it seems the fuse was gone, but I put a new one in and it blew when I turned it on... Earthing out somewhere?

Oh yes.. Fuse number 6...

There are fuses for the blowers.. I haven't even checked that :( I will look at what number they are :D Cheers!!!

So I would like to try to work out what the problem is, it can't be the resistor thing as it doesn't blow on 4... I can only assume its the motor. But I would like to test this somehow before changing it... How easy is it to change? I have some parts from a Golf Gti that I would hope might fit... Any advice would be great!! :)

So I have just read in a post, and have seen before that some people get the outside temperature on the MFA... I need to change my clocks at some point (they hum and its VERY annoying) and I was wondering if some intrument clusters are different to others... Obviously with CE electrics I assume I can use any of the Corrado Clocks if I have the loom too. I currently have a cluster from a 1.8 KR Raddo (although I'm running an ABF engine). I don't remember seeing any sensors for the outside temp... As I go through the MFA there is no option for outside temp. Cheers in advance!

I can vouch for this kit, its amazing.. I would suggest taking the handle out (its only one bolt on the door) and looking at it, you will soon know if its what you need... There should be a MASSIVE stricker coming towards you as you look at the handle... I fitted new ones to either side of the corrado and the doors now open perfectly :)

If you ran out of Oil, it should of knocked a lot before it seized...

It might just be "side to side" that is a bit slopy, in the engine bay you will see the gear selector cables coming in and attaching to the box, they are on bolts and you will see you can adjust them, get a mate to move the gearstick side to side and see which cable is it, then unbolt it a bit and move it slightly, takes a bit of doing but that might be the problem, and an easy fix! Give me a shout if you need a hand :)

OH I'm not saying its a bad choice at all! Just wondering why you have chosen that :) The 1.8 16v and the 2.0 16v are pretty similar, infact the 1.8 is apparently quicker... Wikipedia has them down as the same Hoursepower (136), but with the bigger engine comes more weight.. I'm not sure how true this actually is though! I had a 1.8 16v and it was very responsive, although I now have a 2.0 16v (from a Golf GTi) so its 150BHP and a lot more torquey! Might be worth looking at 1.8 as well as the 2.0. and see if you can drive them both somewhere to see what the difference is!

So i've begun work on my rear spoiler as the paint had faded... It went horibly wrong as I dropped it when the laquer was soft, then tried to fix it without letting it dry!! I'm gonna sand it all down and start again this evening.

Yes, but the seats sit a LOT higher... I would try to use the raddo subframe!

Timing Chains are instead of a cambelt, and only used on VR6's I believe? Whats the reason for a 2.0 16v?

Could it be the starter motor? If bumping always makes it start it wouldn't be fuel related...

I have seen 2 corrados in the Corby area now, and used to never see any... Would be nice to catch up with some fellow raddo folk, so thought I would start this for us to put where we live, and maybe you'll find people in your area that you never knew existed :) I'm from Corby Northants :)
