Am SEVERELY tempted as these are my favourite wheels for a C, but exchange rate is sitting at a 8 year low and I would have to ship them to South Africa, so would end up costing the price of a small house............. :(

Why u selling coulthard? Vr6 turbo is selling a set that are et30 yours are et35, what's difference? More offset on yours? Do they stick out more?

Would u take less without the rubber? What is the difference between et 30 and et 35.....?

Golf gti, golf R, scirocco R they all try to hard to look the part, more Essex boy racer to me than the A5. If you have a corrado that's set up for driving hard, perhaps better to go for more GT inspired a5 to balance things out. To me it has the clean brooding muscular lines and DNA of the corrado that not many cars possess these days...... S5 would be the answer but you would need a sponsor for tyres and fuel......

I think the a5 coupe is one of those shapes that will still look great in years to come... Timeless. The scirocco has already dated and the back looks especially bad- alien like and ttries to hard. I must say thOugh that I am biased as I am looking at a 2008 A5 3.2 white with tan leather and 40 k on the clock, Keep my C then for weekends.......last coupe that I think looked as good as the a5 was the Pininfarina 405. Corrado has to be up there with the best of the coupes though... Thick set with a set of bandy legs out back!!

Thanks Clumpy, Heres another pic from the same trip last weekend- Drove from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town- about 600 miles- getting valve stem seals sorted and gasflowed, polished ports while she's there. Could you post some pics of the driver side regulator- especially of the yellow clips that the cable goes around on the ends. Really keen on this part but need to be sure it works as I have to get it to South Africa via family in the UK...............Thanks, jason

Been listening to bbc 6 streaming the last few months.... What a revelation!!! Never ever thought there could be such a radio station!!! Wish I could get it in the corrado ...

The drivers side regulator, Are all the clips along the cable path intact and not brittle? Can you confirm that there would be no probability of it suffering from the infamous "glass not going all the way to the top" syndrome?

Definately do-able, I have a small 3d printer in my office but its really primitive. Almost like a glorified mini- glue gun on a printing rig. But in the not too distant future we will be printing alot of the plastic parts. C'mon guys there must be someone on the forum who knows someone who can print these bits up!!!!!

HAd my top mounts replaced and the clunk has gone............The tops of the mounts seem to be sitting closer to the engine bay- each one has shifted in by 10mm, gap looks good but have noticed that my splitter catches alot more- ride height looks exactly the same, but when hitting gentle bumps at say 50mph, the front splitter kisses the road, wheras before it never did....?/? Anyone had this happen....also replaced the ball joints.:scratch:

Quite right Jim, part of our country is called the Karoo and is one of the oldest undisturbed deserts on earth, BP are now gearing up to work their way through it by forcing water and other chemicals into the ground, changing the landscape for good.......... Seems shortsighted to me, no doubt a couple of politicians will benefit!!
