rado-steve you're not really reading all the threads before you post tonight are you??
-
D'oh! :epicfail:
-
That truely is Ar$e mate.
-
The timing for the Corrado's release was economically all to cock though wasn't it, like the new Scirocco!
-
EDIT:I'm not showing off - it took so long to type all this I got pipped by two posts   if it's a 1.8 valver it's early .....unless bits have been changed, you'll have, 4 stud hubs/wheels, instead of 5 stud (Can be changed over - fair few other bits needed too?) Non-flush front fogs and indicators, (late ones can be fitted need all four lights at once though) Headlamps and grill will be more recessed than late ones, 7-slat grill instead of 3-slat, (may need modding unless you have an inbetween slam panel with early and late holes) Slightly narrower wings and front bumper with different swage lines on the bumper then later ones, Bonnet will dip in the middle ----------_______________---------- , instead of bulge _________-------------------_________ , (easy swap) Front discs =256mm (not sure about 2.0 valver prob not same) different models different sizes, (can be changed may need carriers calipers brackets etc) Interior mirror, stalks and dash switches are styled to match, they're different to late ones, as are some of the plugs on the back of the switches (swapable, loom plugs needed for switches) Electric window switches will be on the door card not the speaker pods, plugs different on lates (change requires late doorcards, handles, doorpulls............ ) Interior door handles are just the handle, later ones have more plastic trim, ...................... (loom/plugs, doorpods, window switches and mirror switches ) Door opening pull handles and trim are boxy, later ones are more rounded and angled,........... (------------- ----------------------"-----------------------------------) Mirror switches will be on the doorcard and not part of the drivers door handle, plugs different on lates ( --------------------- ---------------"------------- ----------- ) Sunroof switch will be a single two-position black switch set off centre on the motor trim, instead of cream 3-shot one intergrated into the courtesy light assembly, plugs different on lates (Can be changed, needs New sunroof and motor (or modded new motor to fit old sunroof) loom, switch/light assembly) Centre console will have slider controls instead of rotary heater controls, (needs new dash I think?) All the vents have the slats going vertically instead of horizontally, (outer vents swapable only) There's probably other stuff too, I'm sure to have missed something, enough to start with anyhow. Lots of stuff is compatible across the range ie rear wheel bearings, just try using the search facility first or failing that ask   Welcome to the forum by the way
-
That prospect will cheer him up!
-
I was assuming he was talking about the stick-on ones - obviously  If the tyres are new it shouldn't matter where the wheels went unless they're directional? Could you have got something trapped under the mating surface? Do you have after market wheels and locating spigot-rings? Could be a problem there?
-
To a point they MAY be the same, it may depend on how much of it you need?? Seems like unknown territory. You could always try and see, and report back with the good/bad news.
-
Might look okay but you'd be shagged if one came loose inside the tyre
-
I wouldn't have thought so, being as the front wings and rear quarters are different shapes
-
Doesn't sound quite right mate. It shouldn't be able to touch the bumper surely??
-
Just the one little 1.8 16v for the last 11 years, 7 months, 2 weeks, and 3 days :luvlove:
-
If you read your handbook it says that the thinner spacesaver is for fitment to the rear only. If you lose a front you should swap wheels around so you've got two standard ones on the front, for all that traction, braking, steering malarky, could be trick with a 3" tyre  Oh an your not s'posed to go over 50mph either. I'm sure the Insurance company would screw you if you're 'not playing the game' if it could,..... just a thought
-
I'm pissed and lost driving my very expensive car, I know I'll park on this convenient railway crossing and phone 911. :nono: No sympathy, except for the car of course, Knobber
-
Just make sure you don't ever fit it on the front, if you do and have a crash the insurance company probably won't pay out!
-
Yeah but that was before the truth was known, if Trulli had cheated a place then he deserved to lose his place, I still think it's a bit harsh to totally exclude Maclaren from the result but if they're not appealing against the decision then that says it all really!!
-
Ho Hum - he really doesn't have to be an arse just fecking drive his balls off! :epicfail: the silly doughnut.
-
http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/2009/4/9113.html What I don't understand is that Toyota dropped their appeal and 'someone' decided to follow it all up anyhow. :bad-words: Yet another fecking Stewards-lead Witch-hunt. :censored: Are they racist or something????
-
Yeah I've amended my first post! It's on BBC News 24.
-
As the subject, Lewis and Maclaren penalised for giving misleading information concerning the Trulli overtake under the safety car incident, Trulli's 3rd place stands. Lewis excluded from the [strike:1cl406t2]Malaysian[/strike:1cl406t2] Australian GP. What a clusterf*ck! EDIT: Sorry that was excluded from the Aussie GP not this weekends one in Malaysia!!!

Have you tried a polish at all, I think Mer says it's ok for rubber seals, might shift your problem. Check out your polish cupboard! Or get a dedicated rubber trim treatment, there must be some out there.
-
my '90 valver had a blaupunkt can't remember what model though.
-
Bottom of that WIKI bit Yan said that if you run 205s you need longer tie rods  :confused4: Why? What difference will the wider tyres make? I've run 195/50/15s on 7" rims for years with no problems. 8) Trouble is decent performance tyres are hard to get for such little wheels now!!!
-
You could try HERE for protective film. 8)

Chaps he seems to have check the resistor pack earth and put in a new pack and a new fan so it is unlikely (but not impossible) to be these.
